💭 fun lil todoroki twin thought because i’ve been quiet about michi lately 😭:

so technically, shu is the older twin. like, by a few minutes or something. but honestly? sometimes i feel like it’s the other way around.

michi just… matured faster. not in the boring “responsible” way, but in the real way. She picked up on people quicker, understood when to push back, when to comfort, when to protect. she was the one teaching him things he didn’t know, pulling him out of his shell, showing him how to breathe a little.

even during a bad period of her life, the whole thing flipped. shu had to be the one waiting outside the door, steady and patient while she tried to find herself again. and when she did… it’s like both of them grew up for real, right there.

and i think that’s why their dynamic works so beautifully weirdly well. he’s calm and steady, she’s fiery and restless, but they keep trading the “older sibling” role like a baton depending on who’s struggling that day.

so yeah, he might be older on paper, but she’s the one who grew up first. and that’s affected their bond ever since (in the best way)

Have any spooky encounters with yokai or yurei before or during your racing career?

Spooky encounters? Well, I can’t say I’ve had any real encounters with yokai or yurei before or during my racing career. If I did, I’d probably be a little more freaked out than I’d like to admit.

But, there was this one time during a race in Japan… We had a bit of an electrical glitch in the middle of a night-time qualifier, and I swear I saw a shadowy figure dart across the track. Honestly, I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks after hours of training. But who knows?

Who was Michi Chan’s First Love in curiosity?

Okay so like… Michi’s first love?? Hm. Honestly?? I’d say it was probably Kabuto, and not even in a dramatic way, it was more of a “quiet crush that slipped too deep” type of thing. 😭 It’s just that she was like 17–18 when they first started talking more in the Tokyo street scene, and he was older, already known, already had that bad boy energy, and that “ugh-don’t-touch-me-i’m-busy-being-fast-and-dangerous” aura that younger Michi was kind of impressed by. But would never admit it out loud.

I don't think it was ever official. Like, not a real relationship. It was just that emotional first-spark feeling, when someone makes your heart do stupid things but you’re too stubborn or scared to deal with it properly lol. She probably didn’t even realize it was love at the time until much later like when she was in her twenties and looked back and went: “Oh... crap.”

But yeah—first real, named love? Probably Kabuto.

Was it healthy? Ehh. Was it intense? Yes. Did it fade? Yeah, but the memory stayed, yk?

When they called Michi’s name as the winner, Shu didn’t flinch. He stood on the podium beside her, quiet and respectful—like always. But inside, he was digging through every lap, every turn, wondering what he could’ve done better.

He didn’t say much after the race. But anyone who really knew him could tell—second place didn’t sit right.

He wasn’t angry at her. Not even close. He was proud. But it still burned a little. Because he’d trained for this, pushed himself hard. And now, standing beside his sister, watching her soak in the victory… Shu was already thinking about the next race.

He was going to try harder, he had to.

Michi and Max's relationship is a committed one. At the beginning, they both decided to stay in each other's countries for a while to learn more about their traditions, ect and deepen their relationship. They also learned to speak each other's languages for better communication, although they are still improving on this.

They dont fight that often, just some arguments here and there like a normal couple, but never anything that would threaten the relationship. Maybe some things are said in the heat of the moment but its always forgiven.

Both are huge on communication, always a a call here a call there. Can't spend much time away from each other once they're back home, especially Max. But video calls are usually enough. Honestly it's like they cant get rid of eachother even if they tried.

Michi:

She loves skinship, and she always touching Max, above all hugs. She loves playing with his hair too.

She gives the most passionate kisses that knock the air out of his lungs. Let's say it is her favorite passtime when both of them are home and have nothing else better to do. And he still melts for it.

Michi is fucking smooth. She loves to get a reaction out of Max by seducing and making him blush (or challenging him and flirting with her back).

Loves cooking, especially if it's for Max. And she does it out of pure curiosity, so as soon as she learns a new recipe, she wants to cook for him (Speaking of cooking, they take turns sharing recipes and cooking for eachother).

Rarely ever gets jealous, but literally will not allow Max to be alone with certain people. And she gets irritated when someone gets handsy with him. Although she knows he can defend himself, she just defend him from time to time.

Will probably forget important birthdays and anniversaries. And when that happens she will be sad. But will casually make up for it with surprises and silent apologies.

Max:

Bro declared his love first (the others definitely didn't have to help him).

In the beginning he was snarky and somewhat cocky. He still is now. But he was trying to impress her. He really wanted to leave an impression and he of course succeeded.

Max can be the biggest softy ever. Then the next minute he can the cockiest shit ever. And theres no in-between.

Max thanks his lucky stars each night for Michi and that she still with him. This man is truly in love with her.

Max can say the cheeseist pick up lines ever and making her laugh. It's apart from his job, so of course he is so good at making women fall for him and Michi fall for it every time and he loves it. Most of the time he is giving her compliments in German.

He truly loves confidence. He thinks confidence is sexy. Either confidence in yourself or youre confident in something that you do he is drawn to that it attracts him. Confidence is key.

Like I said, Max loves talking Michi. Either in person, on the phone, texting, somehow he needs to know she is there. I feel like Max hasn't been in a long term relationship, so he wants to spend as much time as possible with her/listening to her.

He thinks Michi is too good for him, and he loves when she give him forehead kisses and play with his hair.

When it comes to Michi, he’s often chatty, talkative, and more open. He occasionally tells Michi about how his day went and asks her about hers then listens attentively while asking questions to keep she talking. He loves the way her expression lights out when she talks. He loves hearing the change of her tone whenever she feeling happy and seeing how her eyes sparkle at the same time. The only thought running in his mind is how he adores her so much and he will do anything to keep that smile on her face.

When Shu offered to show Max an old, converted tape of Michi’s drifting days in the ’90s, Max couldn’t resist. What followed was a glimpse into Michi’s wild past—one where she wasn’t the composed seasoned racer Max knew, but a street racer taking corners with reckless abandon. Watching her back then, Max couldn’t help but think: She was always meant to race.
