you know what really pisses me off? the fact that y’all wanna sit here and fucking pretend that muses with female FC’s aren’t being marginalized in the RPC or like we’ve talked enough about it or like it’s been put to rest or like the posts about it are “tired” because you’ve read it all before, and yet the RPC, PARTICULARLY THE INDIE RPC, continues to perpetuate and engage in the same misogynistic and phobic fucking behaviors they always have. muses with male faceclaims are still being put on a pedestal, still being treated like they’re better than others, still having the entire comm shove themselves thoroughly into their assholes for no other reason than it’s a male fucking FC. you want to pretend we’re done with this but tbh? we’re not. until it fucking stops, we’re not. until it fucking stops, my angry ass is still going to be here getting pissed about it, too.

i’m still seeing people call for banning females in their rules. i’m still seeing people say that the muns of females or characters with female faceclaims must go out of their way to prove they don’t want a “ship” in order for them to write with them. it’s disgusting and it’s not okay and frankly if you lot really think that there isn’t a problem with the misogyny (in a primarily female dominated community let alone), then you need to get your damn heads on straight lmao.

I know I was taking a little break to avoid all the stress of the Charlottesville rally being talked about on tumblr, but I also wanted to make sure all of my Jewish mutuals know how loved they are. I know this is scary and sometimes it feels like the only people looking out for us is ourselves, but know that you are not alone and have never been alone. the  sea  brings  up  a  lot  of  things  .       emotions  ,       memories  –       flashes  of  what  her  life  was  when  she  was  happy  .       but  mainly  happy  with  jax  .       before  him  ,       her  memories  of  the  ocean  were  a  little  more  somber  ;       lonely  walks  on  the  beach  ,       eyeing  happy  families    &    couples  .       long  misty  looks  at  the  ocean’s  edge  ,       toes  slowly  tracing  patterns  in  the  sand  .

but  with  jax  ,       new  memories       (  happier  ones  )       were  born  .       strong  arms  scooping  her  up  over  his  shoulder  ,       tossing  her  into  the  water  --       from  which  she’d  emerge  ,       hair  stringy    &    glare  present  ,       only  to  melt  as  soon  as  his  hands  cupped  her  neck    &    pulled  her  into  a  kiss  .       their  first  date  was  also  at  a  beach  ,       which  is  an  entirely  different  story  but   !       basically  ,       the  sea  makes  her  nostalgic  nowadays  because  it  reminds  her  of  what  she’s  lost  /  what  she’s  fighting  for  .

I am a citizen of Charlottesville, Virginia. Today (August 12th, 2017) and yesterday (August 11th, 2017) our city saw violent and chaotic rallies by Nazis and white supremacists. Counter-protesters, many of them students of the University of Virginia, which is here in this city, met the Nazi rallies bravely. People have been injured and arressted. People threw bottles filled with cement or urine, and mace and tear gas filled the air. A state of emergency was declared, and store owners nearby cited having police in riot gear blocking the doors of their buildings.
