It’s that she, as commander, placed a civilian into combat, which is classified as a war crime because of press ganging and child soldiers, along with the whole general thing about exposing civilians to harm. Like, yeah, generally speaking, inflicting that on someone is a war crime.
The trouble is, the civilian she placed in combat? Herself.

I’ve been thinking about starting up a stock photography blog where I take photo references for artists. How many people would find this helpful? I would be open to ‘commissions’ where you could donate any amount in order to get a pose. I would charge more for a full set of poses but the donation part for one pose is just preferred because I am having a really hard time getting a job and I know people need pose references. I will also be starting a cosplay photography business in which you can book cheep sessions if you are in my area to get high quality, well edited photos. This can’t happen until I get a charger for my camera. Until I get a new camera I can’t take video. For now I can take photos with my phone, which has a very nice high quality camera. First photo will be free. This is really important guys I am having such a hard time getting a job it is time I start going out of my way to do so.

Keep in mind I am AMERICAN
Greenies has released a commercial titled “British Teeth”. To any of you who haven’t seen the commercial, good. It is incredibly rude and offensive. They start the commercial with 7 seconds of what seems to be science, then go into saying dogs suffer from ‘British Teeth’. I immediately felt disgusted because I knew exactly what was about to happen. For god’s sake, I have never not skipped an ad on YouTube and I didn’t skip this because I was so dumbfounded that I watched the whole thing. He says in the commercial and I quote “Our forefathers didn’t fight for our independence for our dogs to have terrible teeth. Let’s give American dogs the teeth they deserve! Don’t let American dogs suffer from British Teeth, give them greenies treats!” No but our forefathers did fight for freedom, the kind of freedom that gives you the right to spout this fucking bullshit.
Now I wouldn’t be so absolutely disgusted if I wouldn’t have gone down to the comments section, an obvious mistake on my part. The comments are littered with people claiming that it is not offensive and that the British do this to us all the time. Now I just went and sat through an hour of fucking British adverts to try and find evidence to back up their statements, just because I wasn’t sure if this was true or not. Not only did I not find any British Adverts about American’s that was overly racists or stereotypical, I found AMERICAN commercials that were racist, sexist, and overall terrible. Don’t get me wrong I sat through a lot of very strange, very offensive British Adverts but nothing like this.
I then went through a few more comments and found that people were accusing liberals of being ‘triggered’ but it isn’t actually offensive because it is funny, a joke, and (here’s the one that really pissed me off) “we’re American’s, we’ve hated the British for a long time so these stupid commenters and dislikers need to relax and take a fucking joke”
Let me clear up a few things because I am a history major. But last I checked America and Britain have a very good standing right now and even have stated that their relationship is the UK’s “most important bilateral relationship" in the world. In fact, America and Britain have been allies and on semi-good terms since before WW1. So, no we have not hated the British for a long time and we are actually one relatively good terms with them. We have grieved with them for years of the same events.
This commercial just put me on edge as I have been having some major problems with America and other countries for a very long time. Americans are very poorly educated on the rest of the world. Even in World history, a class for learning about the whole world, we only discussed Europe and China. Nothing of Africa and it’s 54 countries, nothing more from Asia, and absolutely no mentions of south America. Oh, and did I say Europe? Sorry I meant we talked about Britain, Germany, Italy, and France. Maybe a bit about Spain. I met a few adults, well over the age of 30 who didn’t know that Portugal was an independent country, didn’t know that Korea was not just Korea but actually North and South Korea, and didn’t know that the United Kingdom is made up of 4 countries, not just England. I have met plenty of Americans who think that all Germans are still Nazi’s, which is very hurtful to hear because my family is German, and that Egypt is a country in Europe. I guarantee that most Americans can’t tell you that there are 51 countries in Europe, 48 in Asia, 54 in Africa, 12 countries and 3 territories in South America, and (this is the saddest part because it is our own continent) 23 countries in North America. You want to know why I know that as an American? Because I independently study. There are even more than that once you get to the other continents because there are in fact 7 and I only named 5 of them. Oh, and American geographers will tell you there are only 6 because Eurasia is the continent not Europe and Asia. There are 196 countries in the world. The average American can’t even name 15 of them, let alone all of them.
The average American also cannot name the world leader of one other country. Not even one. When confronted with the question I was the only student in my entire classroom that could name one and I could only name one. I went and did research after words because I felt awful about not knowing that information. This is not something the average American student will do though, and I’m sure that out of the whole class less than 25% of them considered even googling one of them. No one checked to make sure that I was correct either. I could have said Justin Trudeau was the president of Spain. No one would have been able to correct the 3 mistakes in that sentence (in case you don’t know Trudeau is the Prime Minister of Canada and Spain has a constitutional monarchy so they don’t have a president).
In short because this post is already ridiculously long, the American education system sucks and commercials like this are shameful and make us seem like an even shitier country than the rest of the world already thinks we are and it’s sad to say that a 17-year-old places higher on a geography test than most Americans because he did his own research rather than his school teaching him.
[Also, because I am really pissed about this bullshit as well, STOP FUCKING BLAMING MILLENNIALS FOR THIS SHIT! Your generation was hated on by the generation before yours. It has been that way since the beginning of time. But blaming everything wrong with the world on this generation is not going to fix anything. Especially when most Millennials weren’t old enough to understand the shit that is wrong with this fucking country when it happened}

I understand that Lovino get’s hated on in the fandom a lot but that post I shared about the typo kinda got to me. Rome has 3 grandsons. Not 2. Not 1. Just because the micro nations arent in the shows and manga as much doesnt mean they dont exist. Yes, Romano is constantly treated poorly but literally no one remembers Seborga and those who do usually make him a super cheerful guy who cares about nothing but flirting. But that really isnt realistic. No one is happy all the time. Especially not someone who has such a large age gap from his only friends and who is forgotten by his entire family. At least Feli tries to love Romano. The only people who are there for Seb are Sealand and Wy. Even the fandom really isnt there for him like they are with the either minor characters. His tag on archive only has 152 works (to put that in comparison Romano’s has 3,371 and Veneziano has 3,586 and even sealand has more at 608) and he is not usually the main character of anything. I was once told that the way I roleplay him wss wrong because he wasn’t allowed to be sad or scarred ever. Sure he is a bit of an airhead like Feli, but even Feli is allowed to be sad in the fandom. All this poor kid wants is to be recognized and even the fandom can’t give that to him.
That being said! All the micronations deserve a bit more than what they get. Sealand is one of the fandom’s least favourite characters. Why though? Because he is annoying? You would be too if your big brother disowned you and everyone treated you like you don’t exist. He’s a little kid and little kids need love and attention. But his brother abandoned him and he had to go figure things out on his own. Sure the fandom has kind of accepted that finland and sweden took him in and that has some canon to it as well. But they aren’t around all the time to raise him and show him what he really needs to be his own country. No wonder the micronation episode was all about getting more friends, none of the big nations want anything to do with them.
(side note: this does not apply to everyone in the fandom and I dont want anyone messaging me saying “well I like seborga so youbare wrong”. This is my personal opinion about what I have seen in the fandom as a whole. Also my phone doesnt have auto correct on so pleade excuse any typos)
