Look, I really don’t think that asexual and aromantic people are taking resources away from other queer people, but if they are then that’s too damned bad; I guess we’ll all just have to learn to share.  Ace and aro people belong in (and have long been part of) the queer community by virtue of having a marginalized innate sexual and/or romantic orientation, and any resources that benefit queer people in general should include them among the recipients.

Yeah idk. I was gonna cosplay Todd Chavez from Bojack Horseman at Anime Boston, but since it was cancelled, I figured I’d still dress up as Todd and sing something. But then the only song I thought of that seemed fitting was the hokey pokey soooooo here ya go.

that aro/ace feel when you’re briefly overwhelmed by the crushing loneliness that comes from knowing you’re never going to end up in a traditional romantic relationship despite how often you tell yourself you don’t need a relationship to be happy, but you still can’t help but yearn for something that can never be because every aspect of the society around you is telling you that romance and sex are the only things that make life worth living, so despite your own aversion to them you can’t help but feel like you’re missing out, and wouldn’t it be nice to love someone like that? and to have someone love you like that? to be seen and known and loved and held and cherished? and to give that in return?
