Oh wait its pride month. I cant believe I forgot about the month mortals clearly invented just for me.
Happy pride all <3
Has the universe perhaps considered this cool thing called "leaving me alone" or perhaps even "letting me have a break for just a moment please?"
Apologies for being gone. Family drama. You all know how it is. (Though it is much worse when Odin is involved. How he still causes problems from the grave is beyond me)
Oh, another Loki. The more the merrier!
@asgards-agent
"Well, isn't this interesting." Loki commented, one hand on their chin. "I can't say I wasn't expecting this to happen... But I didn't think I'd stumble across a version of me so soon." They shrugged, walking closer to extend a hand. "It's a pleasure. The more the merrier indeed!"
"There's a number of us about this place." The other Loki takes the hand, giving a brief shake. "Easy to find if you know where to look. There's a few Thor's about, too. Annoying, those ones."
If we're mutuals or anything adjacent go ahead and friend me on discord (svturn_squ1d) bc im probably hopping off here for a while. The new update is TERRIBLE and I dont like it here very much anymore

Bucky walks the streets of New York. This isn’t his New York. This universe he ended up in… he could just tell that it was off somehow. Even without it being the way it was back when he was a kid. He knows how to disappear in a crowd, though he doesn’t think anyone is looking for him. He keeps his head low. Doesn’t draw attention to himself. He was trained for that.
Loki is well aware of the multiverse, of the many timelines surrounding her own. She is a being of story; of course she would know there are other stories out there.
That did not help her now, stuck in another world with little idea how she arrived here. She had to wonder if there was magic involved, considering the memories of the events prior to her transportation were foggy at best. Oh, well. She would have to make do with what little she had to find a way back.
While observing the crowds, Loki had spotted a somewhat familiar face; though she hadn't interacted much with Bucky before, she still knew of him. Even if this wasn't the Bucky of her timeline, he was still something familiar, and so she chose to follow close behind, just far enough that she might not be immediately noticed.
Bucky, of course, notices the tail after a minute or so. He’s paranoid. Always watching his back, especially after… everything that happened. He moves away from the crowds, pulling into a back alley to hopefully confront whoever it is that’s following him. “Why are you following me.”
Loki follows into the alley with a smile, her gaze never faltering. "You look familiar, is all. Don't I look familiar to you?" She glances down at herself. "Well, maybe not now. Most people know me better in my other form." Still, the horns should give her identity away.
She approaches Bucky, coming right up in front of him, just a foot away. She tilts her head, glancing the soldier up and down. "You're not from around here either, are you?" A guess, mostly, but one she feels somewhat confident in.
Bucky’s hand slips to his gun, just in case. He shakes his head. “No, you don’t. I’d know if I’d met someone like you.” He steps back, eyes narrowing. “Maybe, maybe not. What do you care?”
Loki's gaze wanders to where Bucky's hand drops; she doesn't look particularly fearful. "Gun won't do much against a goddess," she hums. It would hurt, tremendously so, but Bucky didn't need to know that.
She approaches at an agonizingly slow pace, hands held up as if to prove she wasnt concealing any weapon of her own. When she's close enough, she lowers one hand, clearly hoping for a handshake. "Loki Laufeyson. Laufeydottir right now, actually. Maybe you've heard of me, at least?"

MCU & Multiverse welcome! Melissa had finally gone after Squirrel Girl after the debacle that was her previous attempts. This time, she ended it with a notable amount of success... Even if Melissa was unable to fully destroy her foe. She sits down at her desk, gingerly splinting her arm. That damn girl proved to be stronger than she anticipated, even if Melissa was able to regain her hijacked Iron-Man suit. She just hoped it wasn't broken as that would significantly lower her productivity. She still had a business to run, villain activities or not.
It was an unprofessional thought, but Melissa was hoping Squirrel Girl was faring worse than her. She had hit SG pretty badly in the side and Melissa found herself fantasizing that the hero would bleed out in an alleyway somewhere. Melissa is torn from her thoughts as an alarm blares on her computer: an intruder had entered the building. She lets out a long sigh before shifting to face the door. Melissa maintains an unwavering cool composure, addressing the person as they enter. "If you are interested a meeting, please schedule it with my secretary. I'm a very busy woman."
Loki strides in with all the confidence in the world. She's here with a mission, and a mission she will complete. She doesn't care much about Melissa's money, or status, or anything else the woman owns. Right now, she's just an old woman in a fancy room. Loki plasters on a smile as her gaze meets the other's.
"Oh, Melissa, I'm quite busy as well. Can't we do this now? I won't be free again for at least another month, far too many meetings and such." Loki briskly crosses the room and leans one elbow on Melissa's desk. "Tell me, dear, are you aware of who I am? The horns usually give it away." She taps one of the horns with a finger.
She lets out a drawn out sigh, raising an eyebrow as Loki smiles at her. Melissa did not find this amusing in any way.
"Morbeck is just fine. I'm afraid we don't know each other well enough for you to be referring to me in such an informal way."
Melissa doesn't shy away from Loki, but rather leans towards her with a bored look.
"A cosplayer of sorts? Really. You think I would belive there was truly an asgardian god standing in my office."
She scoffs, raising her eyes to meet Loki's gaze.
"What did you really come here for?"
"Well, no, we don't. But calling you Morbeck implies respect, and I most definitely do not respect you, Melissa. Besides, I'm sure we'll be well acquainted soon enough."
Loki scoffs in mock hurt. "A cosplayer? Really? Does the gold not look real enough?" Loki leans back and sighs. "Besides, Comic-Con isn't for at least a few more months. Believe me or not, I am the real deal."
The goddess leans forward a bit, matching Melissa's bored gaze with a mischievous one. "I see that arm of your is injured," she hums, avoiding Melissa's question. "It's quite fortunate you escape your encounter with my friend with only mild injuries, is it not?"
Melissa tenses her jaw at Loki's response, mentally noting that she needed to up her security so as to not be caught off guard like this. She had prepared for a hero to come looking for her, not a god.
"Your... friend?"
Slow realization hits her as she leans back in her chair, looking Loki up and down. Of course that brat had ties to the Goddess of mishchief.
"So she sent you here for revenge? I'm pleasantly surprised... I was here thinking she was incapable of such a thing."
A thin smile crosses Melissa lips. It's devoid of humor, but a clear representation of her amusement at the situation.
"How is our little hero doing? If she can't face me herself, I must assume I dealt quite the blow. A shame I couldn't have stayed to see the outcome of my work, but I'm sure you'll no doubt lecture me on the details."
Loki gives a thin smile. "Quite the opposite, actually. She begged me not to; I had to promise not to do anything too violent. A shame, really. I wasn't all that up for mercy."
Loki leans away. Right now, she's really just trying to freak Melissa out, get her paranoid; she doesn'tneed to harm a hair of Melissa's head if Loki can just convince her she will. Making her fear the wrath of an angry god technically is not violent, now is it? She is operating within the parameters set forth by Doreen.
"She's quite fine. A bit of magic sped the healing process up, but I doubt she would have died either way. You know she has a healing factor, right? You hardly left a scratch." Loki was terrified at the time, actually, but Melissa doesn't need to know that. All she needs to know is that her efforts were utterly meaningless. "That doesn't I'm not a little upset, though. I am not one to let bygones be bygones. So, Melissa, what do you think a fitting consequence is? Nothing is below me, really. Go on, suggest away! I want to see what you think." She grins widely as she claps her hands together.
"Still playing the moral side, then. A pity."
Melissa seems unphased by the threat, despite the circumstances. She couldn't let Loki feel like she had the upper hand.
"Does she? I'll be sure to take that into consideration the next time we cross paths. Hm. I should have noticed that earlier, given she survived a close ranged explosion in the past."
She speaks somewhat to herself, already planning her next steps. She was at least a small bit upset that Loki had intervened, but it meant she could continue to ruin Doreen's life. It's no fun when your enemy is dead for real.
Melissa looks up as Loki asks her to plan her punishment, raising an eyebrow.
"And what prevents me from airing on the lenient side?"
She pauses, her tone dropping.
"You're toying with me, aren't you? I don't much appreciate when people dance around the issue instead of coming out with it straightforwardly."
"Nothing keeps you from chosing a lenient consequence. I expect nothing less, really." Loki tilts her head. "You'd be crazy to pick otherwise. Who would say they want torture?"
Loki smiles wide. "Of course I am! I'm a trickster, a mischief-maker! Not a liar, though. I'm not of that life anymore." She taps a finger on Melissa's desk. "Unfortunately, dear, I am the last person you should ask to do anything straightforward. For one, I'm partial to all genders, and flow between them easily enough, so doing anything straight is out of the question. For two, I am the Goddess of Mischief, among other things."
The goddess steeples her fingers. "Now, if we could answer the question? Preferably without another question?"

Open RP: Poison
Loki found today to be rather boring. He had to do far too much king stuff — meetings and treaties and telling his Jotuun subjects that no, we are not bashing someone's head in because he stole your food, we can punish the crime but not with death.
He runs a hand over his face and lets out a groan. Another meeting over, and Loki is glad for it. The group he met with all seemed oddly shifty, but the wine they brought as a gift was of a high quality. They got a bit of a pass for that.
He was done for the day and decides that venturing out of Jotuunheim might be best. After a brief explanation to Drrf of where he was going, Loki was off to Midgard.
Its pleasant in the city at this time; there's a light snow, far less cold than that of his realm. Loki decides to take a walk through Central Park, a quiet enough place to calm his nerves.
Its a half hour later when something began to nag at him, a feeling of wrongness. He tried to ignore it, but slowly, it creeps up on him. nausea, dizziness, the world going in and out.
Poison. Dammit, he knew the wine was too good to be true—
Loki leans against a tree, clutching his stomach. He's so focused on breathing and generally not dying, he misses the sound of someone approaching.
-
She flaps her wings to catch herself, looking around the frozen land with wonder. Nodding excitedly. "Hell yeah! This is perfect. Hmm..." She taps a heeled foot on the ground and frowns. "I should add learning to fight in ice skates to my training bucket list... Oh well, I'll manage!" She stomps on the ground once more and her magic fills the area, creating a huge stone coliseum for them to fight in. It's admittedly much larger then necessary, big enough for the largest of giants to fight in. She grins. "Much better."
Loki grins. She can appreciate the flair of dramatics. "Try not to freeze, darling. It would be unfortunate if I were not the one to take you out."
A moment later, she's gone-- only to reappear behind Hemlock, a green aura circling her hands. She shoots Hemlock a sweet smile before snapping her hand and pointing towards the other. An energy blast is sent rocketing forward, the snow around it melting as it flies directly towards Hemlock.
"I haven't been in a good fight in forever," Loki hums. "This is fun!"
She smiles, twirling out of the way. "I can do energy beams too!" She yells something dramatically in an unfamiliar languge, doing fingers guns as 4 red beams appear and shoot toward Loki, each aimed at a different limb.
"I agree! This is awesome!" She flaps her wings, doing a quick hop off the ground in her excitement. She's almost overwhelmed by the possibilities of ways to fight, ways to show off. Usually she'd have created blades to dual wield by now but Lokis a fantastic magic user, it only seems right to try and best them at that first.
Loki is there one moment -- and the next she is a Magpie, flying straight around the beams. She zooms into Hemlock's face, shifting again as she passes and falls to the ground with a roll
She grins giddily, a scepter flashing to her hand in an instant. She twirls it as she stands, slamming the end of it into the snow when she finishes. "I can appreciate your casting abilities -- finger guns are a bit untraditional, but they do look cool, which is far more important." She lets the tip of the scepter fall forwards and hit the ground. Giant ice spikes shoot up from.various places, some next to and around Hemlock.
"Everythings about flair!" One of the ice spikes spears through her leg but she barely even blinks even as glittery red blood spills from the wound, staining the ice and stone below her. She flaps her wings to help keep balance on the injured leg. She breaks the ice spike off, pulling it out and tossing it to the side. Red smoke swirls and crystalizes into spikes of her own, several aimed to stab into Loki. "Come on! Show me something I can't copy!"
Loki raises an eyebrow. Her durability is admirable. And the blood being glittery-- that was new. Cool, most definitely cool, but new.
Loki moves quickly, only being grazed by one. She pouts at the tear in her jacket; that's gonna be a mild nuisance to fix later.
Loki briefly debates the ethics of using items out of her bottomless magic bag of safekeeping (her fancy name for her pocket dimension) in a magic fight. Technically she's using magic to retrieving them, and she doubts Hemlock has access to half the arsenal she keeps in there.
She settles on saving the rocket launcher for later in the fight, if it comes to that. Instead, she raises her glowing hand, the snow around her raising and molding together into a large, bulky snowman.
"What shall I name this one? I already have Frösti watching the throne right now..." She hums. "Olaf?" Not that it mattered, this one wouldn't last long in a fight like this. The name was just for fun. Loki gestures towards Hemlock. "Attack!" The snowman rushes forward, arms raised to attack.
She giggles in amusement. "Is that a movie reference or just a silly coincidence?" She remembers watching Frozen with her sisters, Mara had loved it. Its a shame she had to destroy the newly dubbed Olaf.
Her grin is cocky as she looks up at the snow monster. "Should've made something bigger! Or made an army~" With a snap of her fingers a black powder appears in the air. Gravity starts to take hold but she quickly picks it up in a swirl of her red smoke, directing it with her pointer finger to swirl in a circle. The air fills with the smell of ash before she's even finished the spell but when shes does a bolt of fire rockets out of the tip of her finger, getting bigger and bigger and hitting the snow man head on, the flames burning anything in a 20-foot radius of where it hit. She giggles again, even as sparks from her own flame tear holes in the cloak she wears. "Ah, thats my favorite spell... so explosive! I will say I can't make minions to fight for me... point for you!"
"Might've been a reference. You'll never know." It definitely was. She was definitely referencing Frozen. It was more fun to skirt the question, though.
Loki tilts her head and frowns as the snowman falls. "Aw, too bad. I was hoping he'd last a little longer." Ah, well, Frösti was only able to last as long as he has because of the Norn stones. She hadn't really expected Olaf to last that long. "Thank you, thank you. I am full of suprises." Loki takes a dramatic bow.
She notices the flames eating at Hemlock's cloak. "Try not to burn, darling, it'd be hard to beat you if the fire does it yourself." She flicks her wrist and a portal opens above the other, a large pile of snow falling directly above Hemlivk.
The snow completely buries her, conviently putting the flames out for her cloak. A moment later a furry head pokes out of the snow pile and she crawls out, now in the form of a small fox. She shakes off, letting out a happy yip, tail wagging. She shifts back to succubus form, giggling.
"Oh that was fun! Been a while since I've done some good burrowing. But if you want to win you're gonna have to hit me with something a little more deadly then snow, dear."
Loki shrugs. "Not every shot can be the killing blow." She wasn't even all that focused on winning anymore; this was more a dance, a show of power balenced between the two of them. She was quite enjoying the performance the two of them were putting on, and was having more fun keeping step than actually trying to win. It's so rare to meet someone of similar magic capabilities to herself.
She steps back, a clone being left in her place. She steps again, and her clone does so as well, leaving two more. "Well, if one big guy isn't enough for you, how about a few small ones? The clones divide a second, third time, and rush to surround Hemlock. None of them physically attack -- they're only illusions, after all -- but energy blasts flash forward from several of their hands. Loki is using them moreso as a conduit to send her own power to. And, of course, to make targeting her real self a little harder.
She's having so much fun with this. Showing off her power to someone her child self had read about and idolized? This is her favorite part of her multiversal travels for sure. Does her knowledge give her an upper hand? Somewhat. But she had bragged she'd be able to best the god and thats what she intends to do. She just hopes she doesn't take it too far and make them not want to stay her friend.
She giggles excitedly when Loki starts cloning herself. Trying to beat this is gonna be hard, she hasn't trained this ability nearly as much since she'd stopped traveling with the sister that gave her the power, it will likely take a lot out of her, but she's determined. "Illusionary copies? How fun! I bet I can do it better~" With a spin she makes a bunch of copies of herself, each one armed with a red crystal sword and shield. She doesn't have nearly as many copies as Loki does, about one to each of Lokis three, but when the energy blasts hit their shields the copies stay. Each copy leaps at the nearest Loki, attempting to stab her in non-lethal areas. "Thank you Akari." She mutters under her breath.
Most of the Loki's disappear in a puff of smoke as they're hit, with the exception of one, who leaps away and jabs at Hemlock's copy with her scepter. The remaining Loki's again fire blasts of energy, each aimed at the nearest Hemlock copy
Loki herself grins as she makes quick work of the copy that attacked her, disarming and knocking it down. She scans the battlefield and locks eyes with what she assumes is the real Hemlock.
"You've got quite the skill for someone so young." Loki's gone from view again, but reappears right behind Hemlock. "A shame it won't be enough." She takes a swing at the back of Hemlock's knees with the blunt end of the scepter, intending to knock her off balance. Is it a cheap shot? Maybe. Not that Loki cares, as her remaining copies (those which are not still fighting Hemlock's) aim again at her.
She does stumble at the cheap hit but looking at the copies aimed at her, she grins. While she's using an ability obtained through the power of sisterly love (there is a more complex explanation but its funnier to say she's powered by love), why not use another one. She grins, feeling time slow down around her.
She quickly gets back up, moving behind the goddess, kicking the same cheap way she'd been hit and making sure it sends them to their knees. Then she presses a foot down on the back of Lokis calf to keep her in place and conjures a red crystal blade to hold to her throat. Time speeds up to normal.
"Isn't it though? Seems its plenty enough." She grins cockily as her copies keep making quick work of Lokis illusions.
Loki falls with a yelp, landing face first in the snow. She blinks away the cold as she realizes what happened and processes the blade pressed against her throat, her illusions falling, Hemlock's biting words.
Loki could escape if she so wished. A portal below her, a shift into a smaller animal, a few other options to worm her way out of this particular situation. As it was, though, she was starting to feel the effects of pushing her magic too far so soon after recovery. Truth was, she was quite tired. Might as well allow Hemlock to have this battle, just this once.
"Alright, alright, I yield. You may claim your victory this time, Lady Hemlock, though I do not guarantee our next battle will have the same result."

Loki briskly crosses the room and leans one elbow on Melissa's desk.
