If I take up a new fiber hobby surely that will solve all my problems
Let's be honest: Nobody has 100% control over Al
Is this image Al? No doubt about it.
At Hobbii, we use Al a lot. It has clear perks-like saving our tech team from long, awkward photoshoots (even
if the consequence is a photo that looks a bit more staged than casual, it hopefully gets the job done)..
Beyond the quick wins and the fun images, there's a real conversation to be had.
Right now, the industry narrative is obsessed with convenience. "Faster, cheaper, automated." But at what cost?
As we integrate LLMs deeper into our tech stacks, we're facing a shift that most corporate posts ignore: The steady trade-off between scaling and sovereignty.
At Hobbii, we're constantly navigating three conflicting perspectives:
• The excitement of building and playing with new possibilities.
• The strategic concern over losing control of our own data foundations.
• The human question: What does this do to our autonomy and how we develop knowledge?
There are no easy answers or polished slides for this.
That's why our CTO, Tomas Antvorskov Krag is joining the panel at "Data. Drinks. & Dilemma." on 4 June together with Peter Sass Rénard. No pitches. Just a raw conversation about the dilemmas we actually face when the hype clears.
Are we scaling our businesses, or are we just becoming passengers in them?

they don't believe in paying testers, and making unreasonable demands of them to produce social content. they've previously been called out for using ai to fabricate ads.

Fat Horse No. 3
It’s the year of the horse and I’ve always been a horse girl at heart, so I’m finally taking advantage of the excuse to fill the world with fat little horses! These felted friends are about the size (and shape!) of an apple, and if you happen to have any apples to share I’m sure they’d help you out!
This piece is SOLD but lots of other cute new work is available at my table B-11 at Furry Weekend Atlanta May 8-10!

What the heck! As of this reblog, this comic has 21 notes. Apparently a little reblog chain happened, but I don’t really remember noticing. Much higher numbers than my usual 0 or 1. My first taste of success, and I totally missed it!
honestly, if I had a comic take off I wouldn’t mind this one. I still like the joke.
Pounce! … Aaaaand sock!
there's actually a secret eighth deadly sin and it's exactly like gluttony except for textile projects

Wove some fancy cotton tea towels on my table loom!
Super happy with these. First towels on my own loom!

Isn’t she the sweetest little disgruntled thing ever
Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck.
