What does Uggy mean by the "team funnel effect" on her page? Also did she really die?

I’m assuming that what she means by the “team funnel effect” is that when a player blups a horse, the horse’s skills contributes to the player’s General Ranking. I’m sure she also meant that being on a team gives an advantage to that player in the GR (most likely directed at me lol). 

Yes, of course these blups will help a player’s GR, however, these gains are minimal given the time and resources spent blupping. Think about it this way: you can either buy a horse with 4000 skills in the sales for 40k, or, you can spend 15 minutes and either 60 AP or an MA blupping (the equivalent of 2-3 passes). It’s much cheaper and effective to just buy masses of high skilled horses in the sales. 

So I’d say that being on a team is not much of an advantage in the GR. Plenty of people get very far without being on a team (take horseygal and almere for example, or even Uggy herself…they were the top 3 for many months). 

I am inclined to believe that Uggy has passed away.

Which teams have you been on and how did you get onto each of them?

My first team was Canadian Storm (canadians), and then I joined Leyenda (criollos). Both teams I sent in an application because I was a fairly new player. I was co-founder of Benevolence (barb unicorns). I was invited to join Revolution/Inferno, then Obsidian Dreams (friesian unicorns), then Alas de Oro (criollos again), and now Awakened (Pasos). I’ve gotten invitations for a few other teams, but I’ve had to turn them down.

Are you a big pass buyer? If not how do you generate sufficent passes other than pass horses etc..

I haven't bought a pass for 2 years. I make most of my passes/equus from flipping, skilling, and selling BMIs.
