      “Me toooo," Shinji sighed, enjoying the gentle sounds of contentment that Kaworu conveyed. He really did seem reminiscent of a cat. A fluffy, affectionate one; the type that would purr upon any light contact.  

      That’s probably why Shinji started scratching behind Kaworu’s ear unknowingly, just as one would to a cat that undoubtedly enjoyed attention of this nature.

Oh how nice of Shinji-kun to treat him to such nice hair petting! And scratches behind the ear too! Kaworu hummed in contentment, curling up against Shinji pleasantly.

Kaworu nodded his head in response. “Yes, want to join me?”

"W-what exactly does that entail?"

This warm, comfortable, soft feeling. It felt almost therapeutic. Shinji wasn’t in that house anymore, nor was he inside of Unit One. He was safe in his bed with someone that he trusted, someone that made him feel safe… Someone he loved.  This wasn’t so much about intimacy, it was about feeling comfortable. More importantly safe. Now it felt like Shinji actually had a reason to live. Even if Kaworu was the only person in the universe that loved him.

Shinji turned over on his other side, and moved closer to Kaworu before closing his eyes. “Thanks for this Nagisa… I-I’m not sure if I could have, told anyone else.. You’re the only person I’ve told. I.. can’t say that I’m happy, but I guess this is a start.”

Kaworu felt the warmth of their body heat surround and insulate the two of them under the covers. It was a pleasant, tender feeling. He reached out and brushed a hand through Shinji's short brown hair. It was nice, being close like this. As Shinji moved closer to him, he also did, and soon they were cuddling quite nicely. Shinji closed his eyes and Kaworu wanted to kiss him. 

"I am happy that I could help you in any way Shinji-kun....that I could be of use to you."

idk if ill ever use my shinji blog it seems like there are so many shinjis already (which isnt a bad thing!) but i just feel like shinji everywhere so i should keep using kaworu and then maybe ill use my rei in the future
