Which Pegasus breed/bird combo has the worst temperament, which one is throwing you into low earth orbit
Hi!
Anything with appaloosa. I'm honestly not super familiar with the general temperaments of birds but I do have experience with crabby appaloosas. The only ones I haven't had trouble with were from a breeder who'd cross an appy with a friesian to get a surprisingly really good cross.
My theory is that appaloosas are actually wicked smart and are cranky to have to deal with people who don't understand what they need. They have lots of behavioral signals comparable to mustangs which are extremely smart horses, but deal with impatience and frustration in a slightly milder ways that dip more into stubbornness rather than bucking explosions.
So, I suppose any smart pegasus would be a candidate lol

Mix it with a double yellow headed Amazon parrot.
Like the one my mom's friend has that my mom's friend ended up with because the bird hated her original owner's mom, but enticed the mom over by sweetly asking for kisses before taking a chunk out of her face. The bird who, when asked "can birds talk?" responds "birds can't talk, that's preposterous!" and who responds to people getting hurt with "that's gonna need a bandaid!” and who entertains herself by copying the human voices to ask the dogs if they wanna go outside? so she can watch them run around like fools. The one who will call for who she wants to see, but failing their appearance, will call (in descending order of who she likes) other humans until one arrives and then she will ask them "where's [favored person]?" And to my knowledge from getting other keepers talk about their DYH amazons, they're just Like That.
That's the kind of bird that would go Sure hop on! You don't have wings right? Just checking for science, don't worry about it. Let's go!
