Unique Charity Project.

Asher  sat in the lounge area of his apartment complex  with a folder of  a few ideas for potential projects for his charity as well as fund raiser ideas.  He wasn’t sure what he was going to do yet but he knew he wanted to do something different and new. He sighed and rubbed his eyes in frustration.

“I’ll try my best” she said with a shrug. “I’d like to be your friend before anything else,if it makes any sense” she smiled and squeezed his hand.

“Id like that too.” He said squeezing her hand back. They came to where his apartment complex was and walked in and headed to his apartment. He got his keys out with his free hand because he didn’t want to let go of Kaitlin's hand.

Kaitlin smiled and leaned against him as they walked, absorbing his warmth. “My housemate just had a break up and I don’t want to open old wounds for her and rub it on her face that I’m with someone ” she explained quietly.

Asher smiled “It’s okay i understand Kaitlin. I hope that that your roommate finds someone who wont hurt her anymore. Your a good friend.”

He was breathing heavy from the intense kiss they shared. “Would you like to come to my place? I don’t mind if its my place or yours we go to if your sure. I don’t want you to feel rushed.”

Shaking her head she smiled. “I’d love to come to your place, Asher” she whispered and tugged at his shirt. “And if you wait any longer you’d have to unfreeze me first” she said laughing as the wind picked up, blowing her hair into her face.

He smiled and held her close as they headed back to his place. “Good my place it is than and i would really bad if you froze because of me.

She felt herself getting lightheaded. Everything around her seemed to vanish and it was just the two of them. The need of oxygen became too much to ignore and she pulled back, panting. “We need to…we need to go” she whispered against his chest, just starting to feel the disapproving stares of a few people passing them. Looking up she smiled shyly “my place or yours?”

The warm feel of his lips over hers made her melt against him. The hand on his heart turned into a fist, holding him by his shirt tightly. He was gentle yet passionate and it made Kaitlin realise how much she wanted to kiss him from the beginning. Sighing against his lips she smiled, feeling her cheeks and neck warm and flush. Biting her lip she stood on her tip toes and stole anothet kiss from him.

Asher pulled her close as he kissed her and was glad to know she wanted the same thing. He was surprised when she kissed him again but he didn’t mind. He loved the feel of her lips against his. He deepened the kiss with more passion.

“Thank you.” She chuckled. “What’s your name? I don’t think you told me. I’m Lachlan.” She said as she extended a hand.

Lana shook her head “ Just a terrible day. I’m sorry if I’m being rude though.”

“I don’t think your being rude and if you want to talk about it. I’m willing to listen.” Asher said looking at her with concern.

If I see the words ‘Pumpkin Spice’ one more time, I swear to God, I am going to scream my fucking head off. Yeah, pumpkin spice lattes are one thing- but ugh, the juice bar I love has Pumpkin Spice kale chips now. Excuse me while I throw up.

Swallowing tentatively, Kaitlin looked up at him. She felt a knot in her stomach turn, but she didn’t care. Moving closer to him she laid a gentle hand on his chest and over his heart,looking into his eyes.

Asher looked back at her and placed both hands gently besides her face and kissed her on the lips like hes been longing to since he met her.
