I used to spend so much time obsessing over how perfect my sketchbook needed to look, trying to make it resemble those flawless ones you see on Pinterest. But once I let go of that perfectionism and the pressure to make it look picture perfect, I was finally able to complete a sketchbook for the first time in 2024.

I now see that experimenting and creating in your sketchbook is like life’s journey… It’s messy and sometimes unpredictable, but it’s uniquely yours. Make art for yourself and enjoy the process.
