I’m not from the USA

I’m not. I’m Eurepean. And yet I’m panicking over Net Neutrality.

Not because of how it’ll affect things I use.

Not because the practice other countries may take an example.

Not even because of the censorship and control of the information.

I’m scared because a person that has changed my life, that makes me happy, that makes me keep going, can’t afford any extra expenses.

I’m scared because I’m going to lose practically all contact with her because fucking greedy companies.

I don’t know all about the situation. But what I know terrifies me.

I’m not the only one scared. Forget about bigger causes and ideals for a moment. Think of the people. Online business owners. People who can only talk to loved ones through the internet. People who find motivation and advice online.

Many. Many many are gonna suffer.

Some are even going to die.

Don’t advert your eyes from the truth. Some people only manage to find ways to deal with depression and such online. And some are going to suicide if they lose that. I’m not the first to say this, without doubt, but I’m going to try and say it the clearest: PEOPLE ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR LIVES RUINED. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LOSE LOVED ONES. PEOPLE ARE GOING TO DIE.

I’m going to be honest. The thing of the beginning is true, but I’ve put it there for a reason. I don’t want you to think about me or the person I was talking about.

I want you to think of the thousands that are going to suffer. I want you to feel compelled to try and help, however you can. Wherever you live, people need every help they can get.

So please PLEASE, fight. Don’t let them win. Please.
