He… He hadn’t known they existed in this country, as it was well known that Japan was more heavily populated by wolves.
The vampire didn’t even wait for the wolf to finish speaking before he was stumbling forward, eyes almost black at the prospect of feeding. He picked the girl with the most natural color in her cheeks, didn’t even bother with the courtesy of asking for her neck before he sank his teeth into her with a groan, stroking at the skin of her wrist in silent apology.
She sighed against his hair, twined her arms around his neck and held him close, tilted her hips up and though this kind of reaction typically disgusted Gokudera, he allowed it. He kept one hand at her wrist, slid the free one into her hair, and drank from her until her pulse slowed to a near-dangerous level. When he released her, she gave a shaky little moan and he helped her sit, left her with a wad of cash and firm instructions to the group of them to use it to eat something. From the looks of them, from the taste of his meal, they hadn’t had anything substantial in a while.
When he turned back to find the wolf still there, he made an exasperated sound, now-bright green eyes narrowing to slits as he hissed, “For someone who detests my kind so much, you sure are staring pretty hard, mutt.” With a last, venemous look he muttered his thanks, then stuffed his hands in his pockets and headed in the opposite direction.
He had been staring. Heavily. He didnt detest vampires... but his wolf did. He felt as if he was watching something intimate... personal. Takeshi looked away, his face burning. He jogged after the vampire and grabbed his arm. "I wasn't staring." He lied. "I was making sure you weren't going to kill her."
 Takeshi froze, not even moving as he was shoved. He merely picked the vampire up by his shoulders and shook him slightly. “Do you get off on this? On hunting and tearing apart people that try and save your victims? If so, you’re much more of a monster than I am. I’m an animal, what’s your excuse for existing? Where do you have the right to be in this world?”
Gokudera bared his fangs at the wolf, reaching out to push at his face, clawing at his shoulders to try to get the man to put him down. “You think I chose this life for myself? You think I want this, to be a fucking bloodsucking nightwalker? Do you honestly think I wanted to become the thing that goes bump in the fucking night?? If you’re going to kill me then do it, but don’t you fucking dare talk down to me. You’re a monster, I’m a monster, we’re all monsters here.”
He gritted his teeth, sighing sharply and shaking away a strong bout of dizziness. “Fine. You don’t want me to eat people? Take me to a fucking blood bank—I’m going to lose it if I don’t eat soon, and trust me, if you’ve never seen a vamp lose their shit because of hunger, you never want to. Just… I need to feed, okay? Put me the fuck down, I get it, you’re like, wonder-dog or some shit.”
Takeshi sat him on his feet and pulled him down the alley quickly. "Obviously, you know nothing about the supernatural part of Japan." He almost wanted to laugh, despite how disgusting he found what he was about to show the vampire. Three woman, looking very tired, but still... some form of pretty, with scars on their necks, wrists, and chests, stood against the wall, outside of a club that had closed an hour ago. Takeshi's face twisted in disgust and he let go of the stranger's arm and turned away. "Take your pick."

"Because maybe I am a monster. But what does that make you? I don't give a shit if you tell me your victim deserved it: there is one less person alive and you're the one that killed him. Difference is I kill because I have to. You? Your wolf wanted that human dead. Your wolf loved the thrill of killing simply because he could. You're just as much a monster as me, mutt."
With a sneer, the vampire attempted to push past the bigger man, snapping, "Now, if you fucking please, get the fuck outta my way so I can go find myself a meal."

His head cracked back against the brick wall and Gokudera gasped as lights flashed before his eyes, the sharp pain nearly bringing tears to his eyes. He hissed, low and dangerous, as his fangs slid out, his pupils going nearly black, and his hands came up to grab two fistfuls of the werewolf's shirt. Weakened by hunger though he was, he was still stronger than this pup, and he showed it by giving the boy a sharp shove... Though it left him visibly weaker.
"If you'd rather, you can take her place," he snarled--a lie and they both knew it, since wolf's blood tasted worse than shit. "Besides, don't play high and mighty to me, you filthy beast, I can smell your last kill on you still. What, haven't managed to control the monster yet? Jesus, go back and play in the fucking kennel with the other pups and leave the policing to a dog whose bite is worse than his bark."
Takeshi felt like a hole was punched through his chest and rage filled it's gap. His kill had been different. His kill was a drunk about to rape a woman, and likely kill her. His kill is one town back and likely in a body bag. The wolf froze for a moment, eyes going back to chocolate brown. They then lit up and he was in motion again. "You have no place to judge me, you, you... leech! You were going to catch her and drink her inil you're stuffed and she's nothing but a dry husk. You're the monster here. Not me."

Gokudera was hungry. No... No, hungry was manageable. Hungry was an uncomfortable ache in his stomach and a faint feeling of weakness that was easily banished.
Gokudera was ravenous. He hadn't fed in weeks, hadn't been able to, on the run as he was. Feeding would draw attention to himself, attention meant company, and the kind of company that was trying to meet with him now was the kind that would not be satisfied until he was scattered over the Italian countryside in tiny pieces.
It was his first night in Japan and he'd finally found himself a meal. He was in the process of stalking, of hunting, when he was suddenly bodyslammed by what felt like a fucking freight train. He gave a pained shout as his body hit a rather solid wall, green eyes burning like acid, enraged and feral because he'd been so fucking close and now she was gone.
An offensive stench hit his nose and the vampire gagged, held up his arm and breathed through his mouth as he spat, "What the hell does it matter to you, mutt? God, get off of me, you reek of unwashed dog."
"You were going to kill that woman!" He snarled, all but frothing at the mouth. "What kind of monster are you?" He slammed him again and it was all he could do to keep his wolf at bay. What he wanted to do was rip his throat out and leave him for dead, but Takeshi just wasn't that kind of guy.

He looked around for any suspicious parties, and found the source of the putrid smell. A silver haired man, about half a foot shorter than him walked in brisk steps, his hands stuffed in his pockets. Twenty feet in front of him was a woman, looking back in forth to make sure she was safe. The street was otherwise empty. He was hunting her.
Anger seethed in Takeshi's veins and he jetted across the street, grabbing the vampire and dragging him into an alley, slamming his back against the wall. "What the hell are you doing?" He growled, nearly wincing at the wolf in his voice. You're not a monster... he assured himself.
