Some of my favourite 1920s and 1930s bras from my vintage lingerie collection - 4 at once to make up for how slack I’ve been for #lingerieofthemonth! The 20s and 30s are truly my favourite lingerie eras: the craftsmanship was incomparably exquisite and I just adore the embellishments and shapes that were so commonplace… Gently shaping bandeaus and infamously strappy Kestos bralets, intricate cutwork embroidery and ribbonwork flowers. There’s simply too much gorgeousness to capture for instagram.

I hope to write about these pieces in much more detail one day for Knickerbocker Stories but alas I never seem to find enough hours in the day! The dream is to one day open a lingerie museum but that might have to wait for a major lottery win first…
