10/1/2017 For the last year or so I have been working on bark armor. I linked up with Nika {Zola Jesus} whom suggested using birch for the piece I was going to design for her. I sourced my birch from the White Mountains on a cold day last winter. It had rained the day before and were several fallen pieces of birch and branches I was able to pull from. This past Sunday I had the pleasure to finally meet Nika when she performed at the Institute of Contemporary Art of Boston and immediately felt connected to her. Such a beautiful soul. Here are the pictures from that day captured by Mckenzie Leek.

Chelsea Wolfe’s forthcoming album, “Hiss Spun” was announced today. I had the honor of designing the gown on the cover. One night when meeting with Chelsea she mentioned an idea she had with hair and it’s inspiration. I ended up making a gown with tons and tons of hair inspired by her ideas.
