Apparently it's the annual art-roundup time! Here is my art vs artist for this year & my 2024 art summary!

Turns out I did create art beyond June, I just never posted it anywhere...... oops?? Anyway. This year I've been doing a fair bit more animation and character design things on account of getting to zhuzh up my students' curriculum this year, which has been fun! In 2025 though, I'm determined to get back on the comics horse again - I'm GUTTED I didn't have enough time this year to complete my latest WIP comic [name redacted for spoilers], but I'm determined to get it done in 2025!! ...wish me luck 😅

also i started making little clay chihuahuas in my downtime, they are the light of my life and it has been a joy getting to share them with others at cons and such (i also made little clay meece, whom i also love dearly, but that hyperfixation is over now. it is chihuahuahauahua time)

Season 1 Yellowjackets character lineup! I (still) have Yellowjackets brainrot and I've been wanting to do a lineup of the characters like this for aaaages, giving myself a bit of a challenge to push shape + scale in the design process, I'm really happy with how it turned out!

I'd like to do a lineup of the secondary characters, a lineup of the main characters in season 2, as well as a lineup featuring the adult yellowjackets… maybe one day……

Some colour/concept stuff for my long-in-progress comic 'To Be Loved'! The last two images are the most recent colour tests I've done, and the first and second illustrations in this post are the most up-to-date iterations of the character designs :^) This story idea has been marinating in my brain for years now - since 2017! - and slowly but surely, it's forming into something more tanglible; both in plot AND aesthetic. So hooray! Who knows when I'll actually get around to drawing it, though :')

Another comic I did on my Masters! In the second semester we were given scripts for short comics from the Beano, and I chose the Minnie the Minx one :9 we had a ton of flexibility regarding the paneling and art style so I had heaps of fun with my interpretation of Minnie!!
