You know what? I can’t stop thinking about this. Why has no one mentioned that James is saying “you’ve always been my favorite” to Louis when Harry was offending him. Like I’m sorry but what do you mean by that? Why are you complaining to Louis because Harry is being bad to you? Its almost as he sees them as a duo…. they come together…. like “bro look how your boyfriend is behaving, control him, nvm, you’ve always been my favorite”…

It’s such a small hint to them being a couple that I feel like everyone is missing it… and he probably did that as a subtle hint, thinking maybe someone would notice it, because we all know James is the biggest shipper… and also that’s probably how friends and family are when they’re with h&l, like “I’m with Harry” or “I’m team Louis”…. so it’s just a small inside joke between the boys…
