Can we all just appreciate how cute this whole scene was. I wish I could have captured everything but I wanted to just share my favourite screen caps. 

The one thing I love how Kyo and Tohru is how easy it is for them, I also really like that the two of them can have light-hearted fun with each other and they honestly just like being around each other. Their relationship, despite all of the odds stacked against them, is easy. They both understand each other and they compliment one another so well. 

This was also the first time Tohru says out loud how much she appreciates Kyo’s company and how she enjoys being around him. This was pivotal as Kyo is use to everyone either running away from, hating him, or simply not caring about him. The fact she bluntly tells him that she just enjoys being around him is so sweet, you can tell it impacted him greatly just by his face expression. It was what he needed to hear and Tohru says it so non-chalantly you can tell it was not forced in anyway. This alone is huge for Kyo as he was so use to people forcing their love on him even though he could see right through it. 

Kyo is always so open with Tohru, he tells her everything and doesn’t scoff at her questions. You can tell he is so comfortable with her and that he appreciates her and truly cares about what she has to say. I truly admire how honest their relationship is and how Kyo is not afraid to show Tohru his true self (and I mean not just his true form but who he truly is as a person).

I am getting my tissues ready for next episode, it is going to be a doozy..

Kyo and Tohru are so evenly balanced it hurts. Season 1 gave us so many examples of Tohru meeting, accepting, and loving the members of the Zodiac, but the difference with Kyo is that he's able to return the favor. Tohru buries her own feelings so deeply behind her need to take care of others that most people are only able to take her at face value, but not Kyo. He sees when she's worried, when she's tired, when she's hurting or sick or just so lost in thought that she's going to get hurt. He reads her so well, knows her so well, that it only takes him a few seconds of watching her to know something is wrong. Kyo becomes Tohru's most important person because he's constantly taking care of her. He is able to see what she needs and give it to her. No one else in the family - not even Yuki or Momiji, who both love Tohru dearly - is able to understand and care for Tohru quite like Kyo does.
