I painted the color key concept for *THAT* Sonam shot. It came out so beautifully in the finished film! (Additional note written below.)

As someone who is Asian and has dealt with colorism in my own life, I want to make it clear that my version is just a concept, which is why she’s a bit paler/more ghostly here. At the time in development I was trying out a transparent and wispy vibe for her spirit, but the version we ended up with in the final film is more accurate to her beautiful, true dark skin tone!
