This is a picture of some books, and at first glance they don't really matter. But that book on the right isn't mine, it belongs to Candice. And honestly, I'm so thankful to live with someone like her, who takes our call to holiness seriously. The sisterhood that we have formed in this little apartment is hilarious and constructive and beautiful, a place where we can be ourselves and share our faith and ask each other for prayer. And that's what coming home and seeing that book represents to me, our faithful friendship as daughters of God. #blessed

Part goddaughter/sister/best friend, there is nobody quite like her. Where would I be without her constant prayer, joyful influence, and uplifting encouragement? We went from confirmation student and teacher to being young adult ministers together. Now she turns 21 and there's every reason to celebrate. Love you, my sweet Sarahi!

I'm sitting at home unable to make it to teach confirmation tonight because of a bad headache, and I felt so terrible about that, but then I found a livestream on Facebook from the Cathedral of the Madeleine in SLC and it's cheering me up so much. I loved that Cathedral.

There's just nothing quite like the ocean. It's beauty, vastness, and wild ever-changing scenery mirror a God who is incomprehensibly creative. One of the reasons I love California so much. #californiascenery #coastline #photography

If the words of scripture don't make your heart leap with joy, bring a tear to your eye, or cause you to reflect deeply, than you aren't reading it enough. As someone who loves great symphonies, lasting works of poetry, and classic literature, I can say that even those amazing pieces pale in comparison to the beauty and richness that is the Word of God.
