Lumine smiled softly at the other as she watched Albedo study the items in question.
"So, I figured I might as well collect the samples I found and bring them to you. I figured if anyone would want to play with them and experiment on them, it might be you. You do amazing things in alchemy after all."

A spankin' new, brand-name cookware set wasn't all THAT 'much', was it??? Really, he would have liked to have gotten her MORE!
...actually, maybe he ought to consider doing so, now that he thought of it-

Tem laughed low in her throat and wrapped her arms around the other after a few moments of trying.. and failing to look stern! Honestly, carrie was too sweet for words half the time!
"Oughtta introduce you to a few friends of mine. I worry ya gonna up an' buy out an entire kitchen store on my behalf ona th' days.." she mused.

Lumine paused before she answered, sprawled out in the others lap. As close to him as she could possibly get, almost clinging to the archon. A frown as she thought about it.
"Stay here. Stay here in teyvat, with you and paimon and everyone else. I love my brother but.. I've come to love teyvat. Its people its food, its gods. And perhaps my brother might resent that.. but if he can be greedy and leave me alone.. I can be greedy too, cant i?"

The mood of today... is wanting to be picked up and held, for fingers to run through her hair. To listen to someones heartbeat. as she slows down.
"Rule number one! Hold your hand at alllll times! That way, we don't get separated, as long as you have a hand free, I must hold it! And if I do want to take off, I must warn you so you can keep me in sight. That way I'm always safe! Because there will be lots of strangers from afar, we must be careful. But if I do get separated from you.. I must go to the adventure guild and wait for you to come and find me. And when you do come find me, I must ask you the security questions to go with you. If you can't answer the questions; i do not go with you, and I await Jean or someone else who can answer the right questions."
Klee giggled happily as her clover hat was settled snuggly on her head! She didn't quite understand why Albedo couldn't answer any question posed to him. But it had been an added rule, and Klee was a good girl who followed the rules set by her big brother. After all, on the last day before he went to dragonspine she had no desire whatsoever to cut their time short by being in trouble!
She checked her mora pouch, just in case she found gifts to buy for people! She knew Albedo had plenty of money to buy anything she wanted, but as a knight.. she had her own pocket money that she could spend on little things, or lunches out. She would let Albedo handle the important stuff, like boots, or food or such. but this was her treat pouch!!
The Chief Alchemist listened intently to every word, giving Klee the same degree of focus and respect he would dedicate to a grown adult. Albedo was not inclined to take a child any less seriously than a grown-up, and Klee most especially.
By the end, he nodded his approval. "I couldn't have explained everything this well myself." He praised her, offering his hand before leading her outside. "Let's go."
Outside, the city was as lively as he'd expected. For shame, but it couldn't be helped. Obviously, the merchants would want to exploit the hours when the townsfolk would be most active in the streets. Expecting them to open their stalls in the very early morning, or even late at night, would be naive.
He did not let that dissuade him, however, just walking around in as orderly a direction as possible and paying attention to their surroundings, looking for items from his list.
When they were almost past the flower shop, however, something caused him to stop to give the plants on display a double-take.
Albedo realized he'd forgotten to think of one thing when making his list.
Lumine... the Traveler's thoughtful gift. Etiquette dictated he should return the courtesy, did it not? Two people establish a cordial relationship, and when it evolves into friendship, exchanges of gifts can be expected.
He supposed flowers were as good a present as any... But what should he even choose? Looking at them, he could think of all kinds of uses Lumine could make for each sample. The Calla Lily had antidotal properties; Small Lamp Grass was an effective flavour enhancer; Dandelions could detoxify blood and heal the liver...
But was any of that information even relevant for this kind of occasion?
"Klee," He said, without lifting his gaze from the flowers on display. "What would your suggestion be in picking a flower as a gift to a friend?"
"Klee wouldn't go with flowers as a gift."
Klee spoke matter-of-factly as she squinted and studied the blossoms in front of her. While it was true that each and every blossom was lovely in its own right, it came with quite a list of cons over pros!!
"If you give a person live plants, then that means someone has to take care of them. They have to make sure the flowers get the right amount of sun, or the right amount of water every time, and it's another chore to take care of. But if you give a person cut flowers, they eventually wither and die. So they have to either be dried somehow and hidden in a book or tucked away where they won't be damaged. Or at the worst, they get thrown away!!"
She tapped her tiny little chin in thought and squinted at Albedo.
"if big brother Albedo wants to give a gift.. It should be a drawing! You should pick a scene that you and your friend shared, a moment you want the friend to think of when they look at it. That way, it comforts them when you're apart. Pick a nice frame and wrap it prettily."
Klee nodded.
"This way it has both the thought and the time to make it perfect!"
Josephine hummed as she stroked her fingers down her hair slowly, shutting her eyes.
And there is collei, dozing in the limbs of a tree!!!
If she looked upon you as if you hung the moon and stars, than what?

Lumine giggled softly as she filed venti's letter away where it needed to go, and picked up the plate of apple cookies and settled into bed, a smile on her face. It was nice to get a letter from her favorite bard on his birthday~
"Meat pot pies, savory hand pies, beef wellington, a savory biscuit with shredded meat in it." Lumine began to tick things off her fingers.
"No no, I know those are all good, I mean making a sort of dessert bread with meat baked in with it. Think a shortcake with cooked Sumpter Beast meat mixed in, and frosted too." She's never going to unsee that recipe in the cookbook.
".....that sounds like something ayato might make, just to torment poor thoma with." Lumine shuddered in disgust. "What kind of cook book were you looking at?"
"While I'm more than happy to try a lot of baking recipes at least once, I think I draw a line when the recipe calls for meat to be added with your normal baking ingredients." She shudders at the idea of a macaron with any sort of meat flavoring in it.

Lohen offers a bubblegum doused with cough syrup. Don't worry, it's not poison. He taste-tested a few of them personally to make sure he had the right ones.
And, there goes klee climbing right up into Lohen's lap like a little squirrel and tucking herself in where it's comfy and accepting the candy, chewing on it slowly as her tiny fists clamp into his caplet.
The things he'll do to avoid running boring, fightless errands around town. That 'Section Three' of the Knights of Favonius Handbook really is a pain in the neck.
But hey, helping a sick Klee is still helping, right? That's got to count!
He produces a handkerchief out of his pocket. "Listen, if you want to blow something up, I'm your man. But do make sure you use this and not my cape if you need to blow your nose, all right?"
What else do sick kids need, anyway? Ah, yes. Affection. That thing. Pat pat. On the head.
"Mhm. You're the bestest lohen."
One tiny hand grasped the hankie, and she gave a little giggle at the half hearted head pats before grabbing his hand and showing him how to gently run his hand down her soft, fluffy hair instead of the half hearted little pats, like she was a puppy dog!!!
