Todays so awesome
The guy i befriended at the gym months ago said his job is hiring, i sent him my resume, he did the rest
This morning, I interviewed, there were a bunch of people outside interviewing for the position
They called and offered me the job
first well paying job with benefits, very close to home
No more construction for me
So many opportunities when youre just nice to people and make friends
I was tagged by @swordseer for my top 5 albums :)
Creatively, Each one of these has fed who i am, ive listened to each of them almost to the point of exhaustion and i hope you atleast give them a chance despite their extreme nature
Cryptosy - None so vile
Really gross feeling album, Jons tone reminds me of the sound of flies swarming, Flos lack of drumming influence leads to a very intuitive style that just feels “right” despite how insane it is
Angelcorpse - Exterminate
Relentless.. im super attracted to petes lyricism and vocal style. Johns drumming sounds impossible at points, while still somehow conveying the themes of war in the album
Cannibal Corpse - The Wretched Spawn
I mustve watched the “making of” of this album as many times as ive listened to it. The combination of Pat and Jacks songwriting styles compliment eachother so insanely well, especially if youre listening front to back..”festering in the crypt” and “Frantic Disembowelment” being on the same album is so insane.. its nice they gave you that little break with the former
Decapitated - Nihility
Sonic synergy.. if you didnt know Vogg and Vitek were siblings before listening to this album, youd probably jokingly remark that they must be
Death metal at its grooviest, Defeated Sanity-level transitions all throughout the album
Morbid Angel - Dominate
This album feels like youre walking through ruins of a once powerful civilization. Davids vocals are big, powerful and authoritative. What can i even say about Trey despite… its Trey.. its insane.
Anyway, id like to hear about your favorite albums
