Somehow….I’m always thinking. The trees, the flapping wings of the birds, the wavy shoreline, the vibration of my violin……

And when I think, the whole world seems to be even and at peace within my mind, a world where everyone’s is special.

In my mind there are thoughts — random ones, brilliant ones, treasured ones.

When I think, I can feel the breathing of the winds inside me, the roots of knowledge and wisdom inside me, the precious memories tingling inside me… …but they aren’t perfect.

Does perfection have to lead my finger held pens, does perfection have to guide me and my soul, does perfection really matters at all? There is no perfection. Not in this world. Not in this space.

Art is not perfect….it never was. Like the flowers and sciences embedded in my mind, they grow, flourish….none is perfect, but beautiful, they are.

So when you see that child sitting alone…..thinking….. Give him some peace to further plant his roots of imagination in his infinite mind.

I’m frm HK, so a while back our teacher taught us the poem abt Mulan ~ 《木蘭辭》~ So i decided to sketch her;)

This will not be the best translation but I did my best

萬里赴戎機，關山道若飛 Rode through thousands of miles to war, Through hills and caves with lighting speed

朔氣穿金柝，寒光照鐡衣 Chilling winds frm the north bringing the sounds of drums, The cold moon reflecting off the armour of the soldiers

將軍百戰死，壯士十年歸 Thousands died from battle, And the brave shall return
