This Inanimate Insanity ask blog is about the character “The Floor” also known as “Floory” as many contestants call him, or the unforgettable “Floorida”!

This blog is NOT based on canon events (e.g. mephone4 twist of creating everyone), and strictly based on my headcanon’s and my AU. (It’s ok to ask S3 questions of The Floor and I’ll be as in character as I can!)

Who is “Floor Blob”, “Tiny Floor”?

The Floor when he was just born, and/or a baby was only just a blob of lava. He had that Goo look, but was different if you look carefully. (e.g. has small hands hidden under the water, slugma inspiration than goomy, stream of lava followed him while he crawled, cannot shapeshift/multiply into more floors)

How The Floor was created/born [x] [x]

His parents are The Ocean, and Volcano… like the literal ocean and a volcano- ok maybe not a literal volcano, but I’ll get there-

The Ocean is The Floors mom. Wherever you see ocean water, The Ocean resides; the world is The Ocean’s oyster. Her hair flows with the waves, collecting many shells as she explores the many waters. Though she can be anywhere, and everywhere, The Ocean prefers tropical climates. Objects on volcano’s island worship her greatly, even if interactions with her and objectkind are very few and far between. (she/her pronouns)

Volcano is The Floor’s dad. He is an active volcano… but he doesn’t mean any harm! He’s only a gentle giant. Fun fact, did you know he isn’t actually the volcano? He’s like his son and can move his face around the volcano part and back into his actual form; the lava! His sister is the object who causes eruptions around the island… she isn’t active anymore.

Volcano is a chatterbox! He is the first object that The Ocean met. One day, the Ocean was drifting by herself across the seas, there she stumbled across Volcano, drifting across his streams of lava, amen he took notice of her. There the two began to hit it off. He was nice to her not just because of who she was, but it was who HE was. They continued to meet up with each other, months, years, a millennium even, until the two gods fall in love for one another. (he/him pronouns)

I gotta ask, if MePhone didn't create the contestants in this AU how exactly does MeLife work? You're telling me a smart phone causally has the powers to revive a nature god?

ooc// this AU was made before the twist/Mephone saying he made the contestants, so alot of stuff will make no sense episode 17 forward!

But to answer your question, the contestants can die or flat out go missing (are mortal). So they need MePhone4 to revive them if anything stupid happens. But The Floor… he IS the island.

From the first episode of season 3, THIS was his first appearance. He was just stalking around here, but wasn’t around with the new guys when they were introducing themselves;

Yinyang can punch his face forever, and you can try to smoosh it but he isn’t going anywhere. It’ll just hurt alot. The floor can’t die.

But if he did die, could Mephone4 revive him… no? It’s too much power. Maybe he thinks it’d be easy but than realizes “oh shit-“.

This is an Inanimate Insanity ask blog related to the character “The Floor” also known as “Floory” and many other nicknames. It’s fully based on my headcannons/AU and OC’s.

How The Floor was created/born [x] [x]

He’s raised by The Ocean, Volcano, and The Sky. The three are in a polyamorous relationship. The early stages of the relationship were shaky (when to hang out with each other, where and how to raise Floor, etc). The three now are in a stable, and happy relationship.

The Ocean (she/her pronouns) is The Floors mom. Wherever you see ocean water, The Ocean resides; the world is The Ocean’s oyster. Her hair flows with the waves, collecting many shells as she explores the many waters. Though she can be anywhere, and everywhere, The Ocean herself hates cold, and stays in tropical climates. No object has ever talked or seen her up close, that being her anxiety with objectkind (mainly mechanical, e.g MePhone4).

Volcano (he/him pronouns) is The Floors dad. He may still be a active volcano, but he doesn’t mean any harm, he’s only a gentle giant. The guy is a chatterbox. He is the first object that The Ocean met. One day, the Ocean was drifting by herself across the seas, there she stumbled across Volcano who took notice of her. There the two began to hit it off, he was nice to her not just because of who she was, but it was who HE was. They continued to meet up and chat with each other for days, months, years, a millennium even, until the two gods fall in love for one another.

The Sky (he/him pronouns) is The Floors stepfather. He is a quiet fella, most of the time hidding in the clouds watching over his family, once in a while saying “hi” or giving dad jokes. Too bad the contestants forget he’s their, trying to route for his son. The Ocean met him one day while she was hunting for fish. Volcano was far off and couldn’t see where the two were, so she needed someone to watch over her child. The Sky and Floory got along instantly that day, sharing their interests for fish, and the color blue.
