This is an Inanimate Insanity au called Lab Rats

A little explanation-

Lab Rats is a human au where Cobs has created 14 specimen as test subjects. Basically a "created in a lab" au. Some have powers relating to their objects, while some of them don't. Unlike Cobs and his family, the subjects have object names such as OJ, Taco, etc.

CreatorNotes: Nope, unfortunately. The only reason I put COG on wattpad is cuz it was small. Lab Rats is way too big to move over there. But I might do it when it's LR is finished

Anyway to answer the question, yes they get overstimulated a lot. I mean they're trapped in a small room with 14 other kids, it can get really loud in there. Most of the kids don't even notice tbh, and the ones who do just try to leave them alone

What was paintbrushs reaction to lightbulb almost dying???

CreatorNotes: None of the doctors would have told them what happened. Once they decided Lightbulb was okay they sent her back in the room with everyone. I think at this point Lightbulb was still out of it and a little traumatized from literally dying.

She ofc told Paintbrush first thing but I don't think they would’ve believe her, at least not at first., maybe not even for a few days.

But when they do realize she was telling the truth they definitely freak out. They are very good at being over protective of their friends

CreatorNotes: The kids actually don't have normal parents. Bow is the only one that grew up outside the lab

But i do have more lore relating to this

I always refer to the kids as being "created" or "made" rather than born. This is because well they were literally created in a lab. And their actually clones (technically)

Cobs took/stole the dna of some random people, some volunteered, others don't even know they were a part of this, and used it to make the kids

The kids don't know this and will never be able to find these people (cuz i don't want them to)

Taco and Knife’s "parents" are the only ones who sexes are different (LB was born male and PB was born female)
