Basic lore for this au:
•Before Moonlight was put under her enchanted long sleep, she entrusted her key to the unassuming cookie, full of valor and bravery, at the time squire Knight Cookie
•Knight cookie thus has the possession of the gates keys, keys that summon cookies that represent the zodiac associated with Moonlight clock tower making him temporary guardian of the relics untill Moonlight awakes again
•He holds back a lot of power because of this, preferring to use it as a last resort case because of how destructive it can get.
•There are rumours of 13th key existing but surely they are just rumours, right?
Dark Choco and Knight being in secret marriage with literary all of the women in cacao kingdom knowing about it and thinking it's common knowledge when it's in fact not very common knowledge.
Like, Hollyberry coming for a visit to Cacao kingdom (assuming it's at the point where Dark Choco is relearning ropes of being a prince and thus by his fathers side) with her granddaughter and couple of knights like Raspberry, Wildberry and Knight Cookie with some npcs BC yes. Cacao waiting for her by the docks with his Son by his sie, Caramel Arrow and Crunchy Chip with his wolf behind them and for once feeling pretty good about life.
Of course, Dark Cacao did notice his son fidgeting with something but the Hollyberian ship was about to dock so he didn't have time to actually try and ask his son about it because communication is important according to Dreamy Melon Cookie* and so far her advice did work even if sometimes it was uncomfortable. Words were as much of an enemy as they were allies.
Meanwhile on the ship, Knight is wondering why he is even on this trip if Raspberry is taking over his duties soon enough anyway (even if she is still hesitant but cmon everyone needs solo adventure from time to time) and Wildberry is there for the Queen Mother Hollyberry leaving him with nothing to do.
Although the cat like grins Princess was sending him when she thought he wasn't looking. It did make him wonder how she and Tiger Lily look more like sisters when Princess smiled like that.
But it didn't matter much anymore as they were docking their ship and Knight spotted Dark Choco and all of his grumpiness didn't matter anymore because his husband was there and they haven't seen each other in ages- and Princess is looking way too smug suddenly.
Dark Choco was very happy man when he spotted his husband, even if said husband was silently arguing with Princess over something. It didn't really matter as his husband was here and they could catch up each other on their lives and spend some time together and he probably shouldn't zone out that hard if only to not have his father elbow his ribs so hard they nearly break.
Getting the greetings out of the way with most of both parties departing to the castle Dark Choco takes a little bit of time to actually greet his Husband, kissing his hand and gazing at him with so much adoration especially with how cute he looks with blush tainting his cheeks.
Knight is a blushy mess but he gives as good as he gets as he just straight up kisses Dark Choco, even if it's a short kiss it has it's desired effect of making Dark Choco melt like pile of goo into Knight.
Of course other sock workers are wither questioning their sanity or pretending to be blind BC this is their Prince kissing the other kingdom knight right there Infront of them and not even trying to pretend to keep the relationship secret but also this is their Prince who was banished for pretty long time and if rumours are right then he was under a curse and they will do the Prince a solid one and pretend to not know. Even if some of their wifes and relatives look absolutely thrilled to have witnessed that and are clearly planning something or other about it.
After Dark Choco and Knights very warm welcome with each other they follow the group to the castle, Dark Coco giving Knight his cape even if Knight puts up a small protest about being used to the cold and not needing it, he still be burrows into it and wraps it around himself.
It's very comfortable is what he tells himself but both he and Dark Choco know the other reason.

Dark Cacao is pleased to have Hollyberry in his kingdom and they catch up on the gossip and the like whilst rest of the party follows them or at least the rest of them would have followed them.
Waiting by the gates to open, Dark Cacao takes the opportunity to visually check the rest of the group, blinking when he doesn't spot his son who should have been here with them and not somewhere else or maybe the c-
He winces when Holly elbows his ribs, giving her the same look they always gave her when she forgot her strength and then forgets about all of that because out there in the near distance is his son with one of the Hollyberian knights holding hands and talking about something or other whilst they both look at each other with such clear love even he and Holly can see it.
Which is nice to see on his son. Even if the logistic would be a nightmare and the court gossip would have went very wild, it's still nice to see his son just so... So soft and clearly in love, the heaviness that usually surrounds him gone replaced by clear devotion to the person next to him.
They couldn't even talk about it as the gates finally opened and they were forced so to say to the castle although him and Holly kept shooting the two seemingly oblivious lovebirds looks.
I mean it's bad enough if Crunchy Chip is looking confused and looking between Hollys granddaughter and his sons apparent intended but Choco didn't seem to be all that bothered and neither was Dark Choco lover despite all the looks from the group and everyone.
It be interesting explanation either way.
Oh Knight knew him and Choco were beyond fucked considering the looks everyone were giving the but by this point he truly did not give a massive fuck about it and even if Choco was considering the tighter and tighter grip on his hand then they will face that together.
They could just say they were on break whilst each of them was finding themselves or some other bullshit to avoid the cursed sword topic? I mean at least one or two cookies in either of their kingdoms probably found their marriage paperwork and told someone else??? It's not like it was buried somewhere, they had quite public wedding!!!
And if Princess thinks she will get anything out of him before they truly have too then she is mistaken because he knows that she got his whole paperwork as it is common courtesy to give to whoever the knights are protecting in case of their death so they know who to contact and all that.
....
Although maybe he is the one mistaken cause no one really wants to read the extensive paperwork BC why should they? By that point little should have been secret by the years of their service but well hmmmm
Maybe they do have a problem? Eh whatever they dealt with worse and that is not throne room that is side library they are being led too hmmmmmmm
Well fuck.
Dark Choco was not panicking, Knight was the one panicking-and that was creak of the armour so maybe he was the one panicking but could you blame him?
He knew he rebelled quite a lot as youngster but his Father should have been informed about his marriage in one way or another, if not through the paperwork that needs to be signed by him to make the marriage certificate official (which he did, Choco made sure to make copies and frame some of them) then through the numerous eyes and guards that were around the kingdom.
And they were going to the serious™ library so they definitely gonna want to talk about it and maybe it's at least not in the throne room but, but, buuut!!!!-
Another squeeze to his hand made him calmer slightly, he truly loved his husband for knowing him so well even after all that happened and their years being separated <3
I wanted more FireKnightWind so I made more FireKnightWind this time just mix of soft headcanons and ideas
•Knight is usually the fork to Windy knife and Fire Spoon, that is to say he is in middle in the cuddle piles with Fire somehow managing to still cuddle him and Windy (long limb bastard that he is) and Windy usually is usually happily laying by himself without being bothered by the octopus that is Fire
°They do change who is in middle, but they stick to Knight being in middle because Fire and Windy feel like they are able to protect him easier, even if they can't do it during the day they can guard his nights for peaceful rest
°Fire is in middle during winter because wärm and Windy usually takes over summer as he can cool them more easily and tamper Fire wild flames to manageable levels
•They don't advertise their relationship duo to their jobs, Knight as Princess guard needs to be able to show that he is able to protect her anytime he is on duty with no distraction (to varying degrees of success considering their track record) and Fire Spirit and Wind Archer being Guardians keeps them occupied plenty enough whilst trying to maintain balance of nature.
°They don't always get to see each other all at once and it's a very nice rare treat when they do see each other during their work, usually Fire tries to steal one of them into dark corners of the palace where no one goes too or nice quaint brooks to relax in before the forest inhabitants bother them again
°if some of those sessions turn into make out sessions then really it's not Fire faults that his lovers are so damn irresistible and he just had to make his burns marks peak out where others would spot why thank you for asking.
•Fire and Knight were low-key flirting with each other long before Windy came into the picture, mostly during Knight short lived campaign of killing the red dragon, but duty called him back to the kingdom. Windy had his meeting with Fire and they started out on rocky grounds before they found their footing into something resembling friendship
° Knight was seriously considering abounding his duty to the Hollyberian Crown for Fire but Fire Spirit wouldn't have it. There was a small fight, lots of tears and hugs and missed opportunities but Knight went back to the kingdom. Reluctantly.
°Wind Archer did not enjoy Fire destructive nature, he saw the hurt in Fire eyes as something that could be forged into mass destruction of the forest and nearby places. He is glad now that despite his better judgement he can call Fire his now
°Knight and Windy met during their separate visits to the dragon valley, Knight on a quest to deliver something to Pitaya and Wind travelling to meet up with Fire for "target practice" (hangout). As awkward as their meeting was by the dragon nest they did work through it slowly but steadily bonded through their shared view on duty and stories about Fire various antics much to their delight and Fire embarrassment.
•Knight might think he is master of hiding personal things away from palace gossip but even he should have known that he wouldn't be able to hide the burn marks that oh so happen to show up after his breaks! It just matter of time for someone to see who is being so bold as to mark Knight on their turf!!!
°Of course the marks coinciding with sightings of the two nature guardians nearby was just that's coincidence because honestly what would Legendaries want with a common cookie??? And it's not like they met before or anything
•Knight owns a cottage nearer the woods and had slowly been remodeling it so it be more comfortable for his lovers, a more open floor plan, higher ceilings and more windows for the light to stream through, a big fireplace one could even lay and take a nap in and currently he is working on the master bedroom. He hopes the other two will like it but oh well
°They broke the bed from their "thank you" to Knight so now they sleep on the floor with mattres acting as their solid base for the nests
•Windy kidnaps his lovers for flights around the forest, depending on the season he will find a nice meadow and share peaceful meal with his lovers by hand feeding them any produce a specific season might have produced.
•Windy refuses to tell Millennial Tree and Churro about the other two because he knows there be teasing for days that he might not recover from and if he can help it he won't say anything
•Fire doesn't technically have anyone to really talk about the other two about so really he doesn't have a reason to hide it anyway so yay
°Pitaya might not act it but the fireling they adopted is stoopidly endearing with the way he is trying to keep his mates away from Pitaya, even if some of the scent is familiar to them even if they can't put their claws on it. They will find out about it one way or another mark their words!!!
•Knight has the whole castle stuff, several knights and Princess bothering him about those mysterious marks on his skin and his luck is not there because even Dark Choco bonded with Princess about pressuring him to confess on what (who) made those. He is holding up strong for now

You know what? I said drabble but at this point it's full on fic, very suggestive so I will re post it with some spice to my ao3. I will make separate post and update this one when that happens.

Sooooo what iiiiiiiifff Knight had hanahaki disease and instead of it going away second they confess through the usual means (aka throwing up, spitting it out etc) Fire Spirit burned it away during the kiss through careful use of his flames and deep throating Knight with his tongue?
Just:
Knight sitting in the royal gardens, thinking he is on his own as he coughs out few apple blossom and peonie petals. He can feel the itching of his throat worsen which means soon he be hacking out full blooms which always sucks but at least everyone else should be busy in the castle so he could be left to his agony.
Of course that wasn't what had happened, because someone out there hates him, be it Witches or Sugar Swam but as the itchiness in his throat gets unbearable, the root cause of his prediction appears.
Fire Spirit seemed to be preoccupied with something else but it didn't take long to notice the visibly struggling for breath knight on the bench. Asking him if he is alright just results in Knight nodding his head whilst trying to avoid to physically respond but trying to hold the coughs doesn't work for long so soon Knight is having a coughing fit, bend down and on to his chest whilst Fire Spirit hovers uncertainly next to him.
With a break between flower petals, Knight heaves and tries to take deep gulps of air, blabbering to Fire Spirit about not telling anyone because he is fine he promises and please don't get a medic he be fine-
Fire Spirit isn't paying attention to Knight words, instead of focusing on his blood speckled lips and the small blood soaked petal that got caught in the corner of his mouth. Ignoring Knights spluttering noises he plucks it away from knight mouth, watching in fascination as the blood sticks to his fingers, only to slowly evaporate. The petal slowly wilting from his heat, without much thought he popped it into his mouth, humming as he savoured the strange yet delicious flavour of the smoke.
Knight watched with wide eyes because that was freaky even for him and no he isn't blushing and you know what? He will find new place to hack his lungs out because this one is definitely tainted now and he won't be able to die in peace here because of this a-
He didn't make it even a step before his face was seized into a searing kiss. One surprisingly strong hand firmly held his head still, knocking his helmet off of him in the process, whilst the other held on to his waist, pressing him firmly to the hot body Infront of him.
Knight couldn't even comprehend trying to struggle out of Fire Spirit grip as something even hotter swiped over his lips making him flinch and gasp, grasping Fires arms to hold on to somethin as his mouth was suddenly full of something writhing and scalding, his brain struggling to connect the dots that it was Fire Spirits tongue, or rather tongues.
Oh he was sooo fucked and for once didn't mind it.
Fire Spirit on the other hand was obsessed with Knights flavours, so so sweet and floral with hints of bitter iron made for intoxicating mixture that had him ready to do even more questionable things.
Deciding to give knight small respite and time to breath as mortals usually needed that, he busied himself with licking up the blood tainted drool that oh so invitingly went down Knights chin and neck, disappearing under his armour. He could probably break it or melt it to get the annoying piece of metal off but then he be bitched at so-
Cough cough
Weak and muffled peaked his attention. Looking up,the was displeased to find Knight hands over his mouth as he shakes with the coughs, few droplets of blood escaping despite his best efforts.
Something ugly twisted in Fire chest as he forcefully wrenched Knights hands away from his mouth, not caring for the soaked petals landing between them. He didn't give Knight a second to recover before he dived right back into the kiss, holding Knights jaw open as his tongues bullied their way into his mouth, greedily searching for the petals to burn and blood to savour.
He felt Knight weak and panicked tugs on his clothes but he ignored them, instead bringing Knight to his lap, floating them to the highest nearby tee branch to hide them from anyone who might try to interrupt them.
Letting out a pleased hum he gorged himself on the wisps of smoke escaping Knight mouth becoming even more addicted as Knight let out sinful noises.
Feeling like a starved man he moved his tongues further down Knights mouth and down to his throat finding more delicious petals and to his absolute delight few small flower buds. Not one to waste opportunity of any kind he got to works letting his flames burn them, carefully as to not damage Knight too badly but too far gone to really stop now.
Knight knew he was in deep shit before but now he wasn't sure if he was going to survive... But if he died like this he wouldn't mind a lot actually.
His vision might be swimming and it was definitely even harder to breath now because of all the smoke and the inferno in his throat that was spreading to his lungs but the smoke seemed to be helluva of a drug, not just for Fire Spirit it seemed.
He didn't even try to fight it anymore, melting into Fire spirit possessive grip instead, finding pattern in breathing through his nose and trying to exhale through his mouth, although the lazy puff of smoke escaping from around the tongues firmly lodged in his mouth didn't seem to struggle escaping.
Just as he was about to truly pass out, Fire Spirit leaned back taking his tongues out of his throat, allowing Knight to choke on the last of the smoke. Expelling it from his lungs and taking clean air back into them.
Everything was so sensitive, his throat and lungs felt so raw, hot and cold at he same time, it was pure torture trying to find some sort of balance of not aggravating it more and letting some air in.
Fire Spirit watched Knight struggle, feeling faint traces of amusement as the poor guy collapsed against his chest, trying to breath. Fire felt a bit of pity and let him rest there's carefully stroking Knights back, letting some of the heat seep through the armour and watched from their perch as the gardens came alive with buzz of activity from various cookies walking around it.
He dropped his gaze back to the curious creature he was quickly becoming fascinated by. Watching as Knight straighten out and tried to cool his expression into something stern and serious but only coming out as pathetically cute with his hair in disarray and faint burn marks around his lips and throat, his eyes watery and still slightly unfocused from their previous activity.
Letting the Knight stutter and ramble his grievances as he tuned him out. He didn't really care what Knight had to say as his hands went down Knight back, down and down to-
Frustrated, Knight tugged at the horns of the crown(?) and yelped as they were burning to touch, even through his armour. He cradled his hand to his chest, close to true tears as the whole day was just emotionally taxing and-
He blinked in shock as his forehead was kissed, something warm spreading through his body as the warm hands cradled his cheeks and wiped the tears away. He couldn't even form words as he was kissed again, this time more gently and warmly, the inferno of passion seemingly quelled for now.
Breaking apart, Knight just knew this wasn't the last time he will see the spirit of flames. With more gentleness then he showed him previously, Fire cradled Knight to his chest and slowly floated them down from the tree and into the solid ground.
Knight nearly fell down again if it wasn't for Fire Spirit hold on him. Slowly if clumsily they walked to bench, letting Knight sit down, Fire fetched Knights helm and gave it to him.
Knight smiled graciously and put the helmet back on. The silence was peaceful but Knight really wanted to ask Fire Spirit something, anything because this was still something they really should discuss an-
And Fire Spirit teleported before he could even ask him anything. He couldn't even try and be mad as literary seconds after Princess appeared with Mother Queen, both deep in the conversation and maybe he could have escaped if it wasn't for Wildberry following them and immediately spotting him.
He really must have looked like shit if the usual stoic Wildberry looked alarmed at his sight and left the two royals to check on him who of course paused their conversation to see what could have made Wildberry panicked which after seeing him made them panic as well. Before he could try to tell them that he is actually okay he was quickly hauled to the infirmary and left to the mercy of the doctors.
Witches really hated him...
Or maybe they didn't.
He probably should feel insulted that everyone panicked more when he smiled a little after ignoring their questions.

I am having feelings tonight about those three goofers so I'm making it everyone else problem
i dunno just bunch of feelings and concepts I'm getting out of my head pt1
1) This one hinges on the concept that cross playable cookies (aka they are in both kingdom and ovenbreak) know each other from the previous game and got transported to kingdom because they got turned to stone and shattered in ovenbreak BC of Longan. Saying that Knight was in kingdom first and he missed his husbands terribly.
•All he remembered was that he was pushing Windy away from one of the cursed eyes and next thing he knows is that he woke up in grass field surrounded by other cookies who were as confused as him if not more so. Quickly pushing the panic to the side he tried organising some semblance of order, getting cookies checked out and such and trying to get story out of them on what might have happened when Princess suddenly popped into existence.
•Or rather her unconscious body popped into existence. Getting her checked out with alchemist cookie they quickly worked out that she was fine if a little bruised from the small fall.
•With that out of the way the group managed to work out that they all died in ovenbreak, be it through Longan Dragon eyes of doom or the catastrophe they laid upon the land.
•no one is happy but they try to coop, knowing that as long gingerbrave gang doesn't appear-
•Strawberry nearly took out alchemist cookie as she popped on top of her. Princess woke up with a gasp and was close to screaming which nearly attracted nearby monsters to their location if it wasn't for Avocado cookie tackling her.
•This wasn't end of their woes but everyone felt the sorrow and grief when gingerbrave popped into existence few days later. At least they had managed to set up temporary camp and defenses so they were able to get Gingerbrave more comfortable as they waited for him to wake up.
•The trouble started when he woke up. For first few minutes he didn't seem to recognise Strawberry or Wizard before something cleared in his eyes and he hugged them. Later explaining that he had to sort through several jumbled memories ones from Ovenbreak and ones from this new Kingdom.
•Everyone decided to not mention the ovenbreak to anyone new unless they 1)were already with them in ovenbreak 2)show familiarity with cookies in the known.
•kingdom events happens with more Ovenbreak cookies arriving and being inducted into the "Dead but Survived" club. Princess gives Hollyberry and Her Parents heart attack when she starts talking about that blue sword throne room whilst Knight just grumbles about it not being all that fair. Dark Choco agrees with knight from his hiding space.
•{enter more shenanigans of ovenbreak cookies giving Kingdom cookies grey hair and worry lines BC wwwhat the fuuuckkk and what do you mean that Millennial Tree banned you from his city Knight-what why wouldn't he like you-you fucked who?!}
•With Sparkling bar as their unofficial meeting hub, ovenbreak cookies could rest and talk more openly about ovenbreak then in other areas of earthbread which was both a blessing and a curse really.
•What they had learned was kept in the many books lining Sparkling office in the back, one of such informations and eternal pain for Knight cookie was the fact that Legendaries seemed to be one of the groups who would always take longer to regain their memories then the rest.
•Which roughly translated to: Wind Archer and Fire Spirit might be in kingdom but by Sugar Swam did it suck not being able to run and hug them each time he saw glimpse of them.
•Bless their hearts, both Princess and Tiger Lily try to distract him from the pain but there is so much he can take before their pity is too much. Which sucks as even some of the other knights have taken notice to the princesses odd behaviours and his low mood. Not even Sparklings many cocktails or Herbs blunts are enough anymore.
•Cracking a bit, knight swallows his pride and asks for a month off to recover which of course created more unnecessary (in his humble opinion) drama then nessacary, he wasn't that bad of a workaholic!!!!
•
•.... Anyway, with his request pretty much being immediately granted, he decided to try and leave the next month as a hermit so he wouldn't have to run into one of his objects of current misery. This amounted to him spending most of his days in his cottage whilst occasionally going out to buy nessacary items.
•With set routine and sense of ease and comfort lulling him into lowering his guard down, he never notices two pairs of eyes watching him from the tree crowns.
Saying all that I do have au with that armour rotating in my head like a chicken so:
Oven break and Kingdom are separate timelines/world but it doesn't mean that they aren't connected be it through Timekeeper, ghosts or artifacts that cross the flimsy barrier everyday so what if it that applies to the armour as well?
Ice wind Cavalier armour coming with ghost of ovenbreak!Knight who found himself in this new strange timeline when he got turned to stone by the floating eyes whilst trying to help evacuate everyone and finding himself in the kingdom timeline, at first floating mindlessly and exploring the strange world and then finding the ice armour and staying with it to see when his possible counterpart would pick it up.
Kingdom!Knight, having helped the Princess escape from cream wolves in Cacao kingdom when Princess once again tried exploring on her own, being able to fend them off whilst she escaped to get help and being chased towards frozen lake. Fighting those wolves off but sustaining heavy injuries and not being able to get away when the ice starts cracking as he falls in, being weighted down by his armour to the bottom of the lake.
Both meeting each other when the ice armour decided that knight had earn the right to bear it's burden and getting o!Knight to show k!Knight the full capabilities of it
Sapphireknight but no one realises they are in relationship until both do something unhinged that makes others around the go "oh they both are actually freaks"
I dunno I've been rotating them in my head for a bit, especially with some dragon!knight aus I had on my other blog but here are some stuff I've come up with:
•black sapphire and gang get introduced to the player kingdom and unknown to everyone else black sapphire and knight are lovers -> separated due to circumstances -> lovers with this being their reunion so several people are like the fuck at their enthusiasm and low key flirting. Candy Apple and Princess catch them making out in some dark corner and their secret not secret relationship spreads faster then Dark Enchantress Flames
•Fighting some bad guys together and they are so weirdly in sync that it freaks out their allies and enemies at the same time
•Knight being very good at following commands and Black Sapphire using it plenty during sex :)
•But also Black Sapphire being very easily turned on when knight shows off his strength
•Their neighbours invested in soundproofing.
•Both go unhinged with violence if the other is hurt and will commit atrocities for each other.
This thing was hunting me for ages so here is completed art of Knight receiving his master key. Everything in the background was supposed to be different but I settled on this bc my app was crashing.
