I-I dream about a lot of things... Sometimes distorted nightmares about my past, nonsensical interpretations of the present.... and stunning visions of the future. Once I had this dream where I was falling, it was dark and I couldnt seen any sort of floor approaching ... but suddenly I felt myself slow down until I gently landed on my back on some sort of invisible surface... I turned to my left and saw ... him laying beside me smiling gently towards me his hand holding my own, there was a sense of ... serenity that enveloped me in that moment. He never said a word but simply pointed up. I turned and looked up to see the stars and galaxies shine bright in the sky illuminating the both of us in a bluish purple glow. The view was nothing that I’ve ever seen in all my years... I turned a smile on my face to see he was gone..... without a trace. Then I looked up and saw nothing but blackness again .... I-I...... I woke up sobbing for some reason.... B-But .... that’s how I dream ....

📚 Past

Barius: I-I must say ... My past isnt e-exactly the kind th-that I share w-with the feint of heart... It was somewhat difficult. A-Always on the run... stealing and being left unable to trust any one ... I-I suppose that thinking back now I-I deserved what I got. But n-not all of it was bad when I was I-Itzal... but the majority was bad... L-Later on when I became a dry bones it was better. I was given a clean slate, no memories, n-no goals... just the endless expanse of the future. I moved to another town did all the odd jobs I could e-e-even the ones that normally no one would take because it was too dangerous for the living. H-Heh n-now that I think about it... the day I died was probably the best thing that ever happened a-as strange as that s-sounds....
