“H-how are you?” She crosses her arms and rubs them self consciously.

“I feel like I’m dying, school sucks ass. My school’s theatre is keeping me in late so I hardly have free time. It’s weird hearing me say this, but I miss camp, like, a lot.” Victoria sensed Beth was 100% comfortable, so she toned herself down for her.

“How’ve things been back at camp? You still around the grounds?”

“I’m around from time to time. I live close since my tree is in the forest there.” She’s quiet for a moment before she says, “I never thought I’d say it, but I miss the kids a lot. It’s so quiet. Pretty lonely.”
