CrPe: I do need to get my magic under control... And continue my research. Nothing bad will happen.
...
Right?
CrPe: so letters from other places... If Sunny thinks they're safe then I'll open them, but, well, to use a unicorn expression, knock on wood!
CrPe: I'd have to find someone willing to take apart the crystals... Who doesn't like the unification. But that would be an incredibly risky experiment. I'll need to talk with my supervisor about it.
CRPE: my current guesses are maybe quartzes? Or garnets? I’ll take a look at some older research.

OOC: SORRY FOR SUCH A LATE UPDATE. I’m finishing up my masters degree so I’ve been SO BUSY. Thank you for your continued interest in my little story.
CrPe: okay, so, they’re a type of igneous rock (formed from lava), and they develop both through magma entering pre-existing rocks under the surface, and by magma heading to the surface. They are tectosilicates, meaning silicon and oxygen come together to form three dimensional rocks. The orthoclase is a type of this feldspar, which contains potassium. They can be colourless, green toned, yellow toned, white, or pink. In fact, what is commonly known as a moonstone is made of this potassium containing feldspar. When orthoclase and albite grow together, they are called moonstone. And make for very pretty jewels.
(OOC: apologies for the typo. That is meant to say *well, not we’ll. Autocorrect got me)
(Also ooc: if you are asking a question as a canon character from the previous generation/s, or as a character that would be difficult to integrate into mlpg5 canon, I WILL answer your ask. I just have to write in an in-universe explanation for how your communications come through. Thank you so much for your patience and attention. I really appreciate it!)
CrPe: gosh, there’s more letters than I was expecting! I may rush a little to answer a few. Thank you for your interest in my work.
CrPe: that banana was tasty! I feel a lot more energised now. Also, did you know there are some gems that contain potassium? Well, not directly, but! They are present in feldspar, which... Actually you probably don't want to hear me nerd out haha.
CrPe: "Pretty neat, I guess. I probably should also note down the colours of each gem to narrow down the list of gemstones to compare to. After all, these probably aren't Lapis, complete wrong colour. Hmm."
