Hello! Zuko Mod here! Or I guess I should properly introduce myself, huh? Seeing as I'm no longer an anonymous mod!

If you're not caught up, allow me to explain! This ask blog is run by one @pass1onepr1ncess! (That's me!) I'm a 21-year-old genderqueer lesbian! That's pretty much all I'm gonna say about me on here, but if you wanna know more feel free to follow my main! And if you're interested in another ask blog I run, check out @askphf!

Anyway, onto the rules!

Mature asks are allowed! However, keep in mind that I will not be responding to any asks or submissions that cross the line. You can be silly about it, but don't be gross. Any asks that go too far will simply go unanswered and will likely be deleted. And if anyone decides to be particularly annoying with it, I will not hesitate to put you on blast and tell you off in front of the entire blog.

Most of the other ask blogs I've seen use screenshots of the characters with each response, but I will not be doing that here! I made this blog to have fun, and I feel like if I have to go searching online for an image everytime I answer an ask it'll just end up sucking the fun out of it and feel too much like work. (But I've been considering doing little doodles for certain asks!)

You can ask me (the mod) questions, but I will not be answering anything too personal or invasive. Also, don't get too off-topic. If you have something you really want to ask me, my inbox is also open on my main!

You can ask about other characters, but just know that they won't be answering asks! I might do events here and there where I'll bring in other characters for a short time, but for the most part this is an ask Dinopants blog! Meaning Diego and/or Hot Pants will be the ones answering asks!

As the askphf followers will know, I like to create stories with my ask blogs that follow linear progression! So there will likely be character development, story events, etc etc. Here at the start, though, keep in mind that these two are NOT in a relationship yet! Keyword: yet. I get being shippy and such, but don't be pushy about the shipping stuff, alright? Be patient and just have fun watching everything unfold!

For the sake of a heads up, just know that Diego is going to be a bitch and HP will likely talk about religion from time to time! Thought I'd put that here, just so you're aware of this going into things.

Asks will be tagged with [#asks], but I do reblog art pieces and non-inbox related text posts from time to time! Those will be tagged with [#not an ask] as well as the content in them! For example, if the reblogged post is general fanart for SBR, I'll tag it as [#not dinopants] and [#art reblog]!

In one hand Diego and HP's platonic relationship makes me so, so happy Like yeah, mlm wlw solidarity jokes aside (and lavender marriage jokes aside too I love that idea so much), they are two tremendously lonely people who have a hard time trusting others (and themselves), and family is very important to them

All Diego's motivation comes from his mom

All HP's comes from his brother

Like, yeah, family and their characters go hand in hand

So I love making them best friends in my head and making them be very important to each other in a platonic way, like, those are my besties who move in togethe after the race is over and just vibe and are happy to be around someone who gets them

In the other hand they're just a gorgeous butch nb lesbian and their pet lizzard gremlin

an ask for diego who was the most enjoyable person you have found your self allied with during the at least for the time you had with them like wekapipo (rip) sandman/soundman or even hot pants?

Soundman was rather difficult. He really only had his own interest at heart, but who could blame him? Not like I'm any different than he is! Wekapipo was definitely the most teamwork-oriented. For Soundman we had a common gial but for different reasons. For Wekapipo we shared both a common goal and common interest: seeing Johnny and Gyro destroyed. He was easiest to work with considering we were aiming for the same thing!

Hot Pants has been.... begrudgingly cooperative and somewhat difficult. She's not exactly a team player, but then again niether am I! She's bitter, strict, argumentative, an organized clean freak- even out in the wilderness, which is insane!- Out of all of my unlikely allies throughout the race, she's been the most unpleasant and because of our arrangement of sticking together unfortunately I'm at my most vulnerable around her. I hate that!

And yet, for some reason she's not bottom of the list; in fact, she's somehow wormed her way into becoming the top of it. Which is completely backwards! However, I'd be a liar to say I don't enjoy our bickering sometimes. Because of my reputation and usual demeanor, when I snap at people they tend to either ignore me or do whatever I say. It's simple, it's nice! One and done!

But with HP, she actually pushes back in a way no one else really does. She's not below me and doesn't do my bidding, but she's not above me either and doesn't completely dismiss my acrid words. Her attitude towards me makes me feel almost as if we were... equals.

It's different. It's definitely not what I'm used to, that's for damn sure. I'm still struggling to wrap my head around it, but there's plenty of time for that, right?

The sound of a train passing in the distance can faintly be heard. Hot Pants on Gets Up can also be seen trotting back to their camp from a nearby town where she had been procuring some supplies for the next stretch of the race.

least favorite racers?

Johnny. Hands down, easiest question of my entire bloody life! I'll surpass that prick by the end of the race, and then shove his stupid face in the very dust Silver Bullet and I leave him in! Just for good measure! - Diego

While I'm not very familiar with any of the other racers, there's always been something off about that Fritz Von Stroheim man... I can't quite put my finger on it, but he rubs me the wrong way. - Hot Pants

Diego seems to be doing a little dance to an imaginary tune that only he can hear. He's putting his whole heart into it and appears to be enjoying himself!

Meanwhile, Hot Pants looks on in awe, horror, and confusion.

"Did you make this up on the spot or are is this a stand attack? Do you need help, Diego?"

He doesn't respond. He's too busy dancing and having a good time!
