"Hello? I don't know if anyone knows that I am still around... I've finished moving. I can't say where yet, I don't want to be swamped with patients just yet. But it was nice to finally have a change of scenery. Hopefully I can give you all a tour of the new place once I get the chance."

You've read about "the brine race", as you say, before? Why? Most brush the stories off as merely myths and spooky stories.

Was it just an interest of yours to research or have you even run into a brine before and decided to learn about then from that? Where did your interest stem from?

"Before I met Pax, I had never met a brine. I have only read and researched them because of my interest." She begins to pace around the library grabbing a book off the shelf. "I would like to meet other brines out there if given the chance. They are a species...an anomaly that I want to document." She taps her chin with a pen she acquired from her desk "I do wonder how Pax is doing, haven't heard from him in some time." (Mention of Pax, Pax belongs to @ask-pax @sikfox-arts )

Why do you live in the swamps? Wouldn't another biome be better for a clinic? You know, to most preferably avoids germs and moist environments to prevent infections...

"I suppose that you are correct, a swamp is not the most...ideal place to have my clinic. Which is part of why I have been so busy." She adjusts her necklace carefully playing with the potion bottle attached to it. "I can't say where I will be moving yet, as I am still getting everything ready."

Would you accapt someone who wants to help people as an apprentice?

"You know...that doesn't sound too bad...yes I would accept anyone who wishes to help people as my apprentice."

She looks like she hasn't really gotten any sleep as if she's been working hard on a few projects.

"Maybe...I should consider moving out of the mangrove swamp to be more accessible for people to get to me." She mutters quietly under breath.

You don't seem fond of illager kind. How come?

Sure, their violent culture isn't befit for everyone, but what makes you tolerate them? You dislike them, but are still willing to interact with them if need be.

What did they do to you? You are a witch, they should be chill towards you.

"Thank you for your questions." She adjusts her glasses as she closes a book she was reading. "You see...I wasn't always a witch, I wasn't born among witches. I was a villager, a cleric that my people relied on." She looks out the window hearing the frogs croaking from below. "So my hatred of them comes from my time as a villager. I can't pinpoint a specific thing they did to me specifically. But seeing other villagers like me either being killed or forced to hide during a raid." She sighs softly running a hand through her hair. "I tolerate them because I have to...because there is an outpost just outside the swamp. And the closest village is farther out past that."

Whoa, you wash yourself in the swamp?? As a doctor, I hope you realise that is far from ideal. Stagnant water, such in a swamp, are breeding grounds for all sort of nasties, causing disease and infections.

Hope your potions aren't made from swamp water. o-o

"I'll be honest, when I responded to the daily routine letter I kind of rushed my response. I forgot to mention that I boil any and all water I use from the swamp to take a bath in my tower. Same goes for my potions."

She laughs a little running a hand through her hair.

"I am well aware of the health hazards that swamp water has and do not wish for anyone even myself to get sick because I didn't boil my water."

Gonna do this for Dr. Wormwood while I am working on the anniversary comic. Just something to do for fun, but also to keep the blog active. May try to do small art pieces for them, can't promise anything.

(I do want to apologize for not being super active. I got hyperfixated on something and also work has been bogging me down alongside some personal life shit. So I am sorry for no posts in a long while.

I still love Minecraft and my characters. And will be getting back into the swing of things.)

Wowee, it's been nearly a year since my last post of this sort! About time to distribute some snack-sized asks once again. :0

Sometimes we see you with glasses, but not always. Do you need them or are they just for show?

Are you shortsighted or farsighted?

"Well to be honest...I'm near-sighted. I can't read or see things coming from a distance. Sometimes I don't need to wear my glasses, other times it can get bad. Also, I have what is called Astigmatism." She said as she adjusted her glasses. "But the glasses do help with it."

How does one aquire a hat like yours-

At first she didn't know where that voice had come from. She had looked around until she finally looked down to see Millie. She had never seen an enderman this small before, it was certainly a sight for her to see.

"Ah hello there. My name is Dr. Wormwood, you are quite interesting."

She gets down on one knee to get to somewhat the same eye level with Millie.

"Oh, you're looking to get a witches hat like mine? Well I made mine, it came with a lot of trail and error but yeah. I could see about making a hat for you. Might take some time though."

"Do you have something that will help reduce the constant *slime* my body produces?" :o

"Oh hello again...I don't think I caught your name." Dr. Wormwood says as she is approached by Misc.

"Your body produces slime? How interesting." She tilts her head and scratches the back of her neck. "And you're looking for something to reduce it. Hmmm..."

"I don't have anything like that, but I could see about cooking something up for you." She tilted her head as she looks at Misc.

"I will need a sample of said slime though."

Blog update

Howdy howdy, everyone!

Long time no see, huh, I know it's been a while since have been active on this account I've been mostly busy working because of my job.

But I've also been busy on the sidelines, working on updating not only this blog but my other two Minecraft blogs. So far I have updated Hemlock's blog, giving it a new theme and moving things around. I am doing the same thing for this blog. There is a separate link to a page that not only has Wormwood's new ref/design but it has information about her (I am still working on the About page but it is there) There is a new theme that I am still adjusting and I hope to become much more active now than just sporadic sketches and doodles. It feels good to be active again because I love these characters so much and I love the friends I've made.

How would you consider your skill level in combat? You seem rather nimble and smart! I suppose you much rather utilise thrown potions and such rather than a battle axe? Ha!

Dr. Wormwood couldn't help but chuckle a little bit at the little joke. She adjusted her glasses "Ah yes, well, while I do utilize my potions for combat. I am not one to shy away from using a sword or axe if absolutely needed." She gave a shrug as she closed one of the books she had in hand. "I Wouldn't say I'm the greatest in combat though. When I was a villager I focused more on my potion craft and...other projects that I was focused on."
