Trying to build my habit of drawing back up. I feel like I lost my drive somewhere between school and work life, pfff. I have characters of all sorts (human, anthro, feral, plenty o' fan characters, you name it). A trade gives a healthy amount of pressure I assume.

Don't have a good reference for one of them yet but recent sketches could be used as ref- although they're a little silly lol

Oh, maybe a neat thing to know now that I made a "server reset" post on all my Minecraft ask blogs:

I'll be testing the schedule feature of Tumblr a bit more, and post on certain days for each blog. I feel like it takes the pressure off if I just throw posts in queue/schedule rather than posting it immediately when I finish a thing. It also lets me have some "backlog" if I happen to draw faster than just one thing per week, and it gives me some breathing room if that happens. Keeps things active and running.

@ask-hybrid-plains posts appear on Wednesday

@ask-leafelt-valley posts appear on Thursday

Obviously, since I do have four blogs and likely won't be able to do four good posts in a week with my IRL schedule, there won't be a post on those days every week. But if something is posted, it'll appear on that weekday. Makes sense, yeah?

I am just trying to organize a little bit and have a clean plan, so I don't end up winging it, burning myself out, and going offline again. Posting when you finish a thing has always been the way I did it, but I want to see if I can pace myself by scheduling things. Doesn't prevent me from drawing, and I can mark done stuff as done even though it'll appear on my blog some time later.

Reblogs in a chain now get their own notes

The reblog chain is one of the things that makes Tumblr unlike anywhere else. All the notes on reblogs are attributed to the original post, no matter which branch people actually liked or reblogged. We want to keep encouraging conversations, and give contributors the recognition they deserve. 

Soon, you'll be able to like, reblog, or reply to any part of a reblog chain, and that note will go to that reblog's author. Each reblog will have its own counts, instead of one aggregated number from every version of the post. And yes, you’ll be able to like multiple posts in one chain.

If a reblog doesn't add anything, the love flows up to the last person in the chain who did. Your post doesn't lose notes just because people spread it quietly.

Past notes will stay on the original post — we're only changing what happens from here on out. Retroactively re-attributing all of them would be... a lot.

This is just the beginning. More changes are coming as we keep building this out – stay tuned!

Blog Info: Hello! I'm Iodine and this is my first MC oc ask blog!! I've been in and out of the Minecraft fandom since around 2020-2021, and have seen a lot of people with ask blogs for their ocs. Since I've had Phase, I've also wanted to make an ask blog for him... but wasn't and wouldn't have been able to at the time of his creation.

I can't wait to get to share my oc and have fun !! ^^

I am planning a return to my ask blogs, so in that vein I decided to rename some of them. Just a heads up. The blog names actually start with "ask" now so it's clear it's an ask blog.

dozen-arrows-in-my-chest became @ask-havenreach (name's relevant)

leafelt-valley became @ask-leafelt-valley (just added ask to it, simple fix)

ask-enderhybrid-raashi became @ask-hybrid-plains (shortened, simplified, and more accurate considering raashi isn't the only askable character)

Kept Benny's blog ( @ask-glitched-misfortune ) as is, because that's p solid I think.
