greetings, tumblr. my name is elliott... i’m a writer who lives in a small cabin by pelican town’s beach. it gets lonely at times, so i’ve begun a blog to document my experiences in stardew valley. please have some decorum on this page (no nsfw) and always remember to be polite. many thanks!

dearest reader, i write back to you with empathy and the same share of grief in my heart for the state of this world. on one end, it is undeniably bleak… but i also wish to share what has helped me be stable during this time.

some advice i may offer is to take a breath of fresh air every now and again. it’s helpful to be in touch with nature when the digital world has become such a cesspool of intense sensationalism. being among the outdoors serves as a reminder that the earth still spins beneath your feet as it always has. with every reported atrocity, i feel it is understandable to feel anxious. it is a reminder that we are human. however, remember to also take actionable breaks and connect with yourself, your community, and the world that surrounds you. bring with you your brightness.

there are some crabs scuttling along the shore this chilly night. i wonder if they’ve come here to watch the full moon with me.

Elliott I must ask, do you like Scottish terriers? If so would you get one? Personally, I imagine they are the perfect animal companion for you because they look sophisticated and they are fun to be around. :)

a unique question! indeed we share some similarities.

both with long hair and an air of independence… however, my cabin’s humble space raises some concerns about a pet’s environment. but, yes, perhaps someday i would like to have one as a companion.
