They ponder for a bit, wondering whether or not to disclose what had in fact been troubling them. Ultimately, Kari decides that she seems nice enough. "Um, I started hearing... sounds? V-voices...? E-er, in my head. Other than that, u-um... I'm okay."

Voices overlapping, spewing questions they could hardly answer, and a mysterious force lifting them up with no chance to resist. Surely, at least in Kari’s opinion, this was one of the worst wake-up calls they had received.

Kari eventually awakens from their unpleasant nap, any chance of being in a good mood foiled by it. They glance around, finding themselves as they were before sleeping-- alone. They knew their fathers were nearby, but still, after their nightmare, they were uneasy about being alone. Before Kari could decide to return to them, however, they quickly discovered that they were not as alone as they thought they were.
