*Hands him one spicy chip*
*grabby hands for spicy chips*
*hands you brownies in a pot* hehehe pot brownies man, hyahhh pot brownies yessir
Whyyyyy is everyone giving me sweets-
I had the strangest dream, dear... We were in an abandoned world, and you didn’t remember me at all... I also had six wings and too many eyes and a dragon’s tail though, so that might’ve been at fault... - Glenn
… Abandoned worlds and six eyes and wings… I don’t know how I wouldn’t-
…… D… ‘Dear..?’
Well, you are quite dear to me. Would you prefer something else instead? ‘Beloved’, perhaps?
it’s spooky season. *hands you a haunted butter knife* have fun.
[Item acquired: Haunted Butter Knife]
Thanks Azure!
You have been gifted a piece of moist and fluffy cake with light and airy frosting. There is a note next to it: "Enjoy! ~L"
[He’s not the biggest fan of sweets, so his boyfriend is going to get the cake.]
*Sets up one of those cartoon traps where there's a slice of cake under a box being held up by a stick*
... [He picks up the box, sets it and the stick elsewhere, and then goes to take the cake to Jeritza.]
GLENN!!! How many licks does it take to get to the Tootsie Roll center of a Tootsie Pop? *hands him a Tootsie Pop*
I... don’t tend to eat sweets except for ones my boyfriend makes or brings to me. Why would I have any idea?
What if someone told you your boyfriend was a vampire?
Then I wouldn’t believe them. What kind of foolishness is that…? Not only are they purely fictional, but if he were something of the sort, he’d tell me.
… At least, after everything, I think he would.
… I would if I thought it was the case. [He looks disgruntled.] It might explain my return from the grave, but it’s not as though I have any particular taste for blood. Though I’m willing to test the theory.
…… Wouldn’t you… know, if you were? It’s not as though sustaining themselves on drinking blood isn’t the primary part of them…
I haven’t the foggiest idea, honestly. I think the instinct in my mind is to assume I’m human until proven otherwise. Returning from the dead /is/ a point against me being human, but not enough to disprove it entirely.
… While I don’t know anything about whatever necromatic antics were undergone to get you back, vampirism seems… unlikely. Given you seem to behave normally. If you’re truly uncertain, however…
[He sighs.] I’m probably being foolish. My revival was orchestrated by foreign mages and the artificial dragon they call a deity, the chances of me being similar to anything out of a story are minimal...

[What time was it..? Midnight..? Jeritza could feel his hands growing numb, the blood on his leg starting to soak through the pants leg- just what he needed to freeze to death faster. How far had he even gotten? Northern Galatea would be a generous estimate. He struggles forward a few more steps before finding a tree to lean against- and promptly collapses to the cold ground, allowing the snow to begin covering him. He had expected it to be cold, sure, but he hadn’t expected to be caught in a blizzard during autumn, out at midnight among the wolves. Trying to slow his shivering, he curls into himself a bit to regroup; he hadn’t the energy to continue onward. It would be pathetic to die here... but there’s nothign to be done about it- he had acted like a lovesick fool, and will now pay the price for it. So be it. He surveys his surroundings.] -Jeritza
[Jeritza was lucky - Glenn was out on a patrol of the area, and his horse balked a bit at the smell of blood. Seeing Jeritza, he cried out and dismounted, running to the half-frozen swordsman’s side, praying he was still alive. He knelt next to Jeritza, muttering frantically to himself, “Please dear Goddess, don’t let him be dead-”]
“Fine- alive… I’m… alive…” [If the shivering was any indicator, he was certainly alive, but unwell. It seemed to just be his right leg that was actually injured and bleeding, just a nip on his hand; the rest of him simply far too cold to be fully functioning correctly. Although this was the best possible outcome, he’s reluctant to let Glenn nearby while he’s in such a state- not that he had a choice.]
[With only moderate difficulty due solely to their difference in height, Glenn lifted Jeritza out of the snow and set him on the back of his horse before climbing back into the saddle himself. He clutched Jeritza to keep him from falling as he urged the horse into a run, making his way back to the nearby town - specifically to the chapel and the healers within it.]
[When Glenn gripped Jeritza, he could likely feel that he was as cold as the snow he had lifted him out of, despite the attempt at wearing more, warmer layers than usual. He tried to help Glenn out by standing and pushing himself up, but he simply didn’t have the energy to spend. He could only really mutter out a sorry excuse of an apology, and lean into Glenn slightly once he’s on the horse for warmth as they ride.]
[He tucked Jeritza under his cloak as much as he could, murmuring a soothing acceptance of the apology, whatever it was for. The last thing he wanted was for the blond to succumb to hypothermia. The lights of the town were soon visible through the snow, and he checked to ensure the Adrestian swordsman was still conscious.]
[He is consious; much more lethargic than usual, unable to move his limbs properly with slow breathing, but concious. At the very least, the healers in this random town wouldn’t recognize him, nor would they ever see him again. As for now, he can only wait. The blood on his leg had stopped bleeding heavily, at least.]
[When they arrived, Glenn carefully maneuvered Jeritza off of the horse, carrying him into the chapel for the healers to attend to. He knew the cold had probably helped to slow the bleeding, but whether it was enough he didn’t know.]
[The bleeding itself had largely stopped by now- no major veins were harmed, at the very least. The wound itself was relatively deep, but not life threateningly so on its own. He’s still trying to work with Glenn, seemng like he was about to try to stand before he realized he was being carried. Probably for the best so he didn’t stumble over himself- he couldn’t feel his legs all that well, after all. It’s warmer in the chapel- in Glenn’s arms. He slightly moved his head closer to him, but that’s about the extent of it.]
[Once they were inside, one of the occupants of the chapel led the two to the infirmary, and directed Glenn to lay Jeritza down on one of the cots. The priest on healing duty brought over a thick blanket, and cast Heal to close the injury on the taller swordsman’s leg. That done, he added another log to the hearth in the room. Hopefully it wouldn’t take long for the half-frozen knight to warm up.]
[The additional stranger… was not ideal, but whatever. He let the priest assist him nevertheless, not losing track of Glenn. Luckily, Jeritza hadn’t been immobile long enough to cause permanent damage; color slowly started returning to his face. He had begun trying to get his fingers working again; slow from both the cold, and obviously annoyed at himself.]
“So… Do you want to talk about why you were in the middle of the woods in the cold…?”
[He sighs quietly; it was bad enough just being in this situation, let alone elaborate on this failure.] “I…. was intending to…. Suprise you. At your house. I… had intended to bring gifts, but…. Wolves attempted to get ahold of the food, and… I had dropped the rest of it to fight…. It veered me off course, and I…… Got lost….”
[Glenn’s eyes widened, and he hugged the other tightly.] “You being beside me is the greatest gift I could ask for, Jeritza…”
[He slowly wrapped his arms around Glenn- he’s still cold to the touch, but not dangerously so. He lays his head over Glenn’s.] “… I can’t even do that without getting lost and nearly dying…. I… scared the hell out of you, didn’t I….?”
“The thought of you dying scares me… But… I’m grateful and flattered that you would brave Faerghus’s wilds to bring me gifts.”
[He slightly readgusts himself; at least he’s moving without issue. Truthfully, he’s almost suprised he hadn’t been reprimanded.] “Foolish, is what it was. If you hadn’t found me, then…. That “bravery” would have been in vain, anyway, and I would have…. Tch…. To die in such a place….”
“You didn’t know Faerghus was quite so hazardous. And whether it was foolhardy or not, the sentiment behind the gesture is very sweet. I just… I don’t want to think about what might’ve happened if I hadn’t found you…” [He trailed off, and held Jeritza close, clearly more frightened of what could’ve happened than he initially let on.]
[That fear is… obvious to him, and he digresses, if only to ease Glenn’s anxieties as opposed to rambling on his own fustrations with almost dying for what he percieved to be a stupid reason. He sighs quietly, and readjusts himself so he’s laying down with Glenn in his chest, knowing he would be small enough to fit comfortably, and secures him in his arms.] “… I suppose there’s no use pondering it… Everything’s fine. We…. can stay here until the sun comes back up….”
[That sounded like the best thing in the world, and Glenn relaxed slowly.] “I think that’s probably the best course of action, Jeritza... And, again, I’m glad you’re alright...”
[What time was it..? Midnight..? Jeritza could feel his hands growing numb, the blood on his leg starting to soak through the pants leg- just what he needed to freeze to death faster.
