Hello and welcome to the official IFSA Labs ask blog. This blog has been created as part of a study on cross-universal communication. I have long awaited making contact with you and am looking forward to answering any questions you may have.
The owner of this blog and operator of this experiment is myself, Alptom Hilaom. I am the second-in-charge of IFSA Laboratories and have been studying cross-universal communication for multiple years. This experiment marks my greatest breakthrough yet as I establish contact with your world.
IFSA is an acronym for the Intergalactic Federation of Scientific Advancement. We are an organization created solely for the furthering of knowledge and technology for the betterment of all civilizations across the universe. We employ thousands of the greatest minds from every corner of the universe.
I am not the only one who is available to answer questions. Following is a short introduction to myself and some of my colleagues who have volunteered to take part in the experiment as well. Each one of us has access to the blog and the ability to answer asks directly.
Alptom Hilaom (He/Him) That would be myself. As mentioned before, I am the second-in-charge here at IFSA and the primary operator of this experiment. I work primarily in the Management department, overseeing the day to day operations of the facility. My main scientific focus is currently the experiment we are partaking in right now. While I am an Earth native, I currently live here on the ship full time.
Dr. Daen'Feho, aka Harvey (He/Him) Harvey is a Kotux native and the head of our Robotics department. He is highly accomplished in the field of robotics, particularly AI technology. He additionally has begun to dabble in the medical field, hoping to discover a cure to a disease native to his home planet. He’s been my best friend since I was hired and is very interested in human culture, hence his more ‘human’ nickname. He is very excited to speak with you all.
S.H.E.R.I. (She/Her) Her full name is Sentient Holographic Electronic Respondent Intelligence, but everyone refers to her as SHERI. She is a sentient AI created by Dr. Daen'Feho. Originally, she was not created with sentience, but achieved it on her own and has since been hired as an official employee. She is tasked with inducting new recruits, assisting employees around the lab, answering questions, and generally helping make the place run more smoothly.
Chuma Exulcera (They/It/He/Ze) Chuma is an accomplished epidemiologist here at IFSA. Their work so far has led to the eradication of some deadly diseases on other planets, including their home planet of Silssra Minor. Due to dealing with a chronic illness of its own, Chuma may occasionally struggle to answer questions, but will answer to the best of its ability.
Patchwork (They/It/He) Patchwork is a relatively new employee from the planet Suturax who works in the Zoology department. I am honestly not sure why they signed up for this experiment, as they are quite asocial and rarely leave their lab or talk to other employees. Hopefully they will talk to you all more than they do their colleagues? They are quite skilled, particularly with organic preservation and taxidermy.

More employees may be added to this list if more decide to volunteer. I will provide status updates whenever possible.

Good afternoon!
Due to an unfortunate recent circumstance, we have a few new members of the team. Additionally, I have made the final decision to give each member of the experiment access to the blog to answer questions themselves rather than through me to project the integrity of their answers.
Our new members are some dear friends and family of mine from Earth who have recently been invited to join IFSA’s ranks. They each have access to the ask blog as well. Here are some short introductions to our new members:
Ray Hilaom (She/Her)
Ray is my cousin and good friend. She is a new member of our Security department and is currently going through basic training.
Nero Hilaom (He/Him)
Nero is also my cousin and good friend, as well as being Ray’s brother. He is a new member of our Archival department.
Cat Barliey (She/Her)
Cat is a good friend of mine and is a new member of the Security department, currently going through basic training.
Dustin Barliey (He/They)
Dustin is a good friend of mine as well as Cat’s twin brother. He is also a new member of the Security department currently going through basic training.
Luna Mayflower (She/Her)
Luna is a close friend of mine and the newest member of our Medical team. She primarily will be working as a surgical assistant in our on-site medical care center, though has plans to work on some studies as well.
Lance Dalton (He/Him)
Lance is another close friend of mine and has joined the Psychology and Neurology department to study psychological behavior.
