Despair?!  That word is not part of my vocabulary. It’s important to overcome most your fears. Most is unnecessary baggage that doesn’t do you any good. Fear can help you. It helps you to duck when somebody throws a knife at you, for instance. But being scared of spiders isn’t very useful. You should do something you are afraid of every day. Not things that are senseless and dangerous, but things you find most difficult. Like making that important phone-call you should have done months ago, or go to the dentist. You can think of a thousand bad things that could happen, but even when the worst case scenario unfolds then where did all those other fantastic creations of your mind end? Right in the bin. Well that’s a shame cause you spend so much work on these.What truly is this worst case scenario anyway? What we most fear doing, asking, saying; these are very often exactly what we most need to do. And the biggest challenges and problems we face will never be solved with comfortable conversations. I never despair, never have, never will.
