[ Totally. Of course, most of the stories would vary between provinces, but there are a couple stories that are pretty much told the same across Ionia. Those would generally be things like creation myths and folk lore about how things such as agriculture and natural phenomenons came to be. 

Of course, there are also cautionary tales meant to deter children from acting up and encouraging them to be good. Filial piety is something that I imagine Ionians to value a lot, so I can see lots of stories glorifying good sons and daughters. On the other hand, I can also see stories of malicious creatures and spirits punishing greedy, deceitful, and cruel children (oddly enough, I’m sure that stories of gumihos like Ahri float around as well too). ]
