Daxter was offended. "Hey!" Jak on the one hand raised his hand to shut Dax up, before he'd make it worse. "He's an ottsel. Half otter half weasel. But he used to be human." Dax quipped, "Yeah before ya knocked me into a vat of Dark Eco." Jak rolled his eyes. He noticed the soldier lowered his weapon, unlike others he encountered before. Maybe he could trust this guy. Jak and Daxter wandered into Hero's Duty. Torn said to find new recruits to help fight the metal heads. "Uh hello? Anyone here?" He looked around the dark wasteland and saw no one. "Ah forget it Jak. These guys wouldn't handle metal heads anyway." Daxter crossed his arms.

Corporal Kohut was busy cleaning his gun when he heard a quiet noise. "Cybug..." He stood up and cocked his gun, ready to take down the mechanical insect. He quickly turned a corner, and instead of an overgrown metal bug, he saw a long-eared blonde man with an orange ocelot on his shoulder. "Can I help you?"
