Did you draw the pictures you're posting on your blog? You shouldn't post other artist's work without getting their permission first and crediting them.

He sets his skirt on the sink counter, nodding at her list before climbing up onto it & beginning to search through the cabinets. He was a little sort to reach from the ground, & he had to grab what was necessary somehow. “On it, Mom!” he gives a salute, wiggling a bit due to momentarily letting go of the shelf he was holding onto, managing to straighten up before he fell. “Let’s see.. found the peroxide, detergent is probably down lower.” pulling the bottle out, he takes a quick glance in the mirror, double checking for any situational evidence on his face. He was lucky there was no black eye today, otherwise Rin would have much more to say about the situation.

They continue to scroll through the article on their phone, reading the directions carefully and giving Mikuo a nod of acknowledgment once answered and hearing the movements to getting supplies.

While reading the last bit of what they would need to know, there was a in-the-back-of-the-mind thought of why this was a situation Mikuo would need. No need to pry, I don’t think...

They give a glance to the teal-haired boy before reading off what needs to be done. “Uhm...First, we need to...I think we just dab some of the hydrogen peroxide on the spot and wipe it off after a couple minutes?”

“Do you think it’ll work?” he falls into step with them pretty quickly, lightly rubbing at the spot with his thumb. “Some of it came off on my hand, does that mean it’s not too dry?” he’s a bit desperate, if his voice doesn’t show that enough already. What could he say, he loved this skirt too much to part with it. “What does it take, anyway? Hopefully I have what you need.”

They gave a little nod as they opened the door to the bathroom and quickly digging out their phone to look up what exactly it was they would need to clean the stain. “If it’s wiping off, I think we’re golden.”

“I only remembered as much as the tub and some kind of cleaing supplies. It should all be stuff in here, though...” They glanced up for a moment to look at Mikuo before looking back down to scroll through the site on the device in their hand. “Uhm...We need a lemon, some detergent, some kind of cloth, cold water, and maybe hydrogen peroxide. I think we have some lemons in the kitchen, so I’ll go get one if you wanna look for any of the other stuff? Should be in the cabinet somewhere.”

“It’s been there a few hours.” that was all the detail he would let slip, as he couldn’t exactly just tell her what had happened. It wasn’t as if blood magically appeared on things, but he’s thankful that she hasn’t questioned him just yet about its origin. “Since not long before I got out of work. It should come out, then, right? This is one of my favorites..” he’d hate to get rid of it over this little fuck up. “We can try, either way. I hope it works.”

They give a small nod, “Uhmm...Yeah, yeah, I think that should be fine. The goal would be not to let it dry very much, but if it was today...” They move their hand over their mouth, giving the situation of the clothing a bit of thought.

“I think we could. An attempt is better than not doing anything about it, like you said...” A decisive nod was given and they turned on their heels to begin walking towards the bathroom, gesturing for Mikuo to follow.

“Mom, question.” he isn’t sure if she would know the answer to what he has to ask in specific, but he figures if anyone would be able to help him it would be a mother. “Any idea how to get blood out of clothes?” he asks, holding up one of his skirts, a spot of black evident in the middle of it. “Miku-ne just told me to buy a new one & Luka-ne left me on read, I need serious help.” just don’t ask for context.

They look over to the questioner before glancing down at the object shown. A moment of thought before they open their mouth, close it, then speak. “There’s a way to do it, but it only really works well if its like...Super recent?” They furrow their brows in a little bit of thought.

“Like...Right after it happens, I think? So if that’s like a day or two old, we could probably try but there’s no guarantee we could get it out...”

There’s a few moments of silence, Konami simply standing there for a second before gently taking the money from them. “Konami didn’t expect to get this far.” they give a salute & a bow in thanks before scurrying off back to their game machine, beginning to play as if they hadn’t stopped in te first place. After a few moments, they re-approach the stranger, a big grin on their face. “Thank you, thank you! Konami is very grateful that stranger let Konami beat the high score!”

They nod slightly and give a small wave as the child runs off to the games. In waiting for the O-K to leave, they lean on their hand, arm on the table.

Re-approached..

“Ah, no problem, kiddo. It can be frustrain’ bein’ only a dollar away from a highscore.” An enthusiastic thumbs up.

Konami has a question!” being their usual hyperactive self, Konami had gone out to the arcade on impulse & successfully managed to spend all of Katalina’s money without beating their own record on one of those old machines. They wouldn’t be able to sleep tonight if they didn’t do it, hell would break loose– asking a stranger for just a bit wouldn’t hurt, right? That’s what they were always told. “Can Konami borrow a dollar from stranger? Konami will pay you back as soon as Konami is able!”

They were quietly sitting at a table while the other kiddo they came with was off playing games with his friend, and then suddenly there was a different kiddo asking for money. They are surprised.

“Uh...Yeah, sure?” After a tiny bit of digging in their wallet, they handed over the dollar.
