Would you ever get any pets? What kind of animals do your children like? And your husband?

Hm... I'm particularly fond of house dogs and cats, but any trained one is incredibly hard to find.  And I wouldn't risk anything but taking in a wild one.

The boys have always liked snakes.  Same goes for Giovanni.  I wouldn't mind if they had one, as long as it was harmless.  I don't know about Claudia, though!  I'm sure she wouldn't be pleased by the snake, or by any animal living in our home.

But I believe we could all agree on keeping a pigeon coop, so I guess you could say that's a pet.
