Speaking of you, Lord Markov, I hear you’ve been putting the “consort” in “Infinite Consortium?”
"Clever, but not accurate. I have consorted with men before, however Jace was not among them. Humans have such colorful imaginations."

Speaking of you, Lord Markov, I hear you’ve been putting the “consort” in “Infinite Consortium?”
"Clever, but not accurate. I have consorted with men before, however Jace was not among them. Humans have such colorful imaginations."
-sneeze- I’m being talked about.
“Revel in it.”
“To be fair, that’s usually a bad thing in my line of work.”
"Ah, yes, my mistake. And what, pray tell, is all the fuss about?"
-sneeze- I’m being talked about.
"Revel in it."
Aww, sticking up for Drana~
"She is a good friend. It is less an honorable thing to do so much as a necessity."
“Before I answer your question, allow me to propose one of my own: If you listened to every story told about me, would you think me a monster? Assuming, of course, that you had never before met me and were unaware that I was your creator.”
Avacyn remained silent and bit her lower lip.
"Precisely. As a divinity and guardian of Innistrad, you must learn that judgement is reserved for those you have personally encountered. Hearsay has a rather nasty habit of transforming into heresies."
“And you know this from personally interacting with her?” he asks with disapproval in his voice, raising an eyebrow.
“Stories, Sorin. I hear them all. Please tell me, what would you say about her?”
"Before I answer your question, allow me to propose one of my own: If you listened to every story told about me, would you think me a monster? Assuming, of course, that you had never before met me and were unaware that I was your creator," he says pointedly.
Lord of Innistrad, or Markov?
"Why not both? Sorin Markov, Lord of Innistrad, has such a majestic ring to it. Fitting, as well."
“I don’t think she changed, I just think you started to noticed her true colors.”
“And what, pray tell, to you perceive to be her ‘true colors’?”
“She’s insane and bloodthirsty! One would mistake her for a newborn vampire rather than an elder progenitor.”
"And you know this from personally interacting with her?" he asks with disapproval in his voice, raising an eyebrow.
True colors, as a term, means person's true nature, not something that you show to the world if you want some sort of secrecy. Something that you don't need to do sir, as your presence, attitude, actions, and aura show for you already. But onto my main question, Would you like to Spar sometime, say, this time tomorrow?
"I know what 'true colors' means, wolfrider. I was more interested in Avacyn's opinion on Drana's character in particular. But yes, I would be most interested in sparring with you, elf. Perhaps you should prepare some healing salves in advance for yourself. You are going to need them."
askvenser replied to your post: You were right about her, you know.
Well, I’m not entirely thrilled. I’m just not too keen to dwell, is all. It wasn’t novelty. She changed. It happens, I suppose.
“I don’t think she changed, I just think you started to noticed her true colors.”
"And what, pray tell, to you perceive to be her 'true colors'?"
Sorin smiles softly. “Thank the gods. I was beginning to think you were having regrets about the gift of immortality.”
“HA! I’d never! However, infatuation takes all the fun out of being immortal.”
"Oh, Drana, pet, give it a few centuries and you will never have to deal with those pesky feelings of infatuation again."
“And why would you want it to be?”
“I wouldn’t!” Drana smirks, “I was always more suited for this life over humanity.”
Sorin smiles softly. "Thank the gods. I was beginning to think you were having regrets about the gift of immortality."
Sorin... have you ever considered taking up artifice?
"No. Metalwork has never quite piqued my interest like lewd behavior and excessive consumption of alcohol does."
"You. Mortals. Entertain me. I grow weary of perpetual boredom."
((I love roleplaying Sorin so much. It's so fun trying to get down that archaic way of speaking without sounding too over the top. Plus he's a total asshole. Love him <3))
romanoffblitzer replied to your post: Well, that was… unexpected.
Vampire and human morality: incompatible?
It would seem that way.
Though, I don’t feel that all vampires are like this. Sorin and Vish-Kal seem just fine, so far as I can tell.
“If you are asserting that I adhere to any specific set of morals, you are harshly mistaken.”
I merely meant that you were a reasonable man.
"The majority of vampires are. It just so happens that their definition of reason does not necessarily conform to thine own."
