This blog is severely unserious!! I will be posting and replying roleplaying as Maskfly themself most of the time. They are 16 and under a lot of stress, so they sometimes curse and snark. If they at any point feel mean, know it is not me being mad at you. I am just playing a character.
You can ask them things. In fact, you can ask the majority of the cast things! Granted I may sometimes have Maskfly answer in their stead. You cannot expect all of them to be in the Palace ALL the time.
The blog's canon advances with that of the fic's. This means that you can safely assume what you have already read has happened, and can ask accordingly. That said, this blog is NOT CANON to the fic itself! What you see exclusively happen here does not happen there.
In terms of rules of conduct, I expect everyone to maintain human decency. If an ask is inappropriate or vitriolic in any way it will not be answered AND you will be blocked. Anon mode will not save you. I have my ways. Please be nice.
Sooo I will be taking a bit of a breakkk- Blogging is incredibly fun but it has been a lot, and I am unfortunately a working woman- I'll be right back on the 22nd!
The inbox will be closed for this duration, but will open up again then! This isn't a hiatus for the fic or anything, just a sabbatical for the blog specifically.
Bold of you to assume they have dairy milk for me to use-
They have this...milk adjacent liquid they get from a livestock animal they keep. I'm using that! It tastes a little like drywall but it's nothing sugar cannot fix.
I recently had some Lime sorbet and it was like my ice cream awakening, and once I was your blog I got an idea for a question: does Hallownest have ice cream and if not you should absolutely introduce it to them.

Hallownest is about to have ice cream. I am raiding the kitchen as we speak.
Sorbet though I don't know how it is made- I... think it's frozen juice instead of frozen milk? I'll make that too. I'm about to use SO much of my first aid supplies on cold spells to make summer treats in December.

Oh, for sure! There's a whole village of them topside. They're all very mellow and friendly.
Though there's this one guy. I don't know his name, but he gives me horrendous stink-eye every time I come by. He thinks I don't notice, but I do- it's hard not to, he's the only moth I have ever seen carry a nail and shield. He never approached me though, so I don't know if he's glaring or just trying to figure out what the fuck he's looking at-

Nah, the vast majority of bugs don't have hair. It's too rare to develop into a culture thing. They just like to play with mine because it quote "feels funny to touch"
And I like, I don't blame them? I like touching it too. Something about Soul infused water makes it really soft.
We absolutely cannot do that because it is simply impossible but imagine for a moment we could. Would that make everything that has to do with it also teal? Would the kids become blue. Would the shadow creepers' shells slowly evolve to be teal to match the environment again? Will the Pale King be annoyed as hell that his army of constructs no longer match his dry ass colour scheme?
Also. you probably should not try using lifeblood. As in the future, when hornet is an adult and, on that quest, to kill a god in pharloom. Lifeblood... does some stuff to bugs. I'll just let this image of what it did to some dude as an example of why you SHOULD NOT USE THAT SHIT
