Okay, so I looked up Mediterranean moray eel's And I want know how romano feels about Wikipedia saying "utilized fresh and eaten broiled, boiled and baked. The skin can be used for leather." In other words we can eat you and wear you too! Sorry for asking a again so soon. Side note: admin are you okay? if I remember correctly you were in the hospital.

I just found your blog, I love your art style. The ask: how do the mermaid's bodies work? Like the teeth what are they for? How do they reproduce and poop? Etc.

//ah hot diggity, it’s been a fat minute since I’ve been on this blog, sorry if your ask has been sitting in my box for like a bajillion years!

Romano is a Mediterranean Moray eel. They’re known for the nightmare that is their second pair of jaws. They grab prey with the primary set in the front of their mouth and then sort of just, grip it and suck it down to their gullet with the second set. Yikes, I know. I don’t know if this applies to other fish, but it’s just a thing I thought I could incorporate to make him a bit more... fishy. I’ll be updating his design as soon as I get more motivation to draw!

As for reproduction and excretion, they have a cloaca. Their bodies are complicated to explain because, since they’re not real, it differs from each person’s idea of how the body will work. 

My personal idea is that their cloaca is located a bit below their belly button, obviously on the fish portion of the body. They have all human organs besides an air bladder, which is located right around the intestinal area.
