During the middle of the war, before Pink Diamond’s supposed Shattering, the Druzies of Homeworld were busy designing and manufacturing new and experimental weaponry for Homeworld’s Army. Here we see Druzy Facet 17 Cut 7xR and some of her partners at work in designing an experimental Ruby-Rifle for a high ranking Carnelian General.

Here’s another screenshot redraw with the SU pilot style! Obviously, we never saw ruby and sapphire in the pilot. And so, I used concept designs from the su art book of the two (I tweaked their colors)

Hello once more, gemsona makers! This is @gemsonaresources here to remind you all that “Stages of War”: A Gemsona Zine is an event that is open to ALL creators that have Steven Universe gemstone OCs. This is your last chance before this zine is closed for entries!

THEME: Exploring the Gem War/Rebellion

This theme will explore gem life on Homeworld and its colonies (i.e: Earth) before, during, and after the Gem War/Rebellion through the eyes of our gemsonas. You may choose to focus on one of these time periods, or on multiple stages of the Gem War. This zine aims to show how life-changing war can be.

What is a gemsona? A gemsona is an original character inspired by both the cartoon, Steven Universe, and real life gemstones and minerals. Do we have to apply for this zine? NOPE! ALL participants are welcome. Former zine experience is not required for this event.

What type of creations are accepted? -Drawings/Illustrations/Fan Art -Literature/Stories/Fan Fiction -Collages -Comic Strips/Pages

Posted this on my spam IG but, Boulder Opal! She’s kind of unhappy with her life rn and so she’s behind the scenes trying to escape Homeworld and help others escape She’s owned by a sapphire I think... My headcanon is Homeworld opals are personal body guards to aristocrats, especially ones who don’t/can’t fight; they’re owned like pearls but fight like quartz.
