I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but I subscribe to authors on ao3 at the drop of a hat, and this tends to backfire because so many people write in multiple fandoms these days. three months later, I can't remember what I followed them for (star wars or batfamily, etc) and they're posting nonstop in fandoms and pairings I've never even heard of and then ONE DAY, one day, they finally post something I recognize and I'm like WAIT, you wrote that one fic!! that I liked!! with Good Parent!Bruce and the Batkids!

and then they go back to posting obscure manga porn fics, which really couldn't be more on brand for ao3 if they tried.
