my entry for @gemsonazine's gemsona zine!! i've been wanting to draw this for like 2 years ever since i thought of indi's backstory, i just never thought i could draw well enough to draw it how i wanted it to look until now

My entry for @gemsonazine , it was super nice to revisit my gems again! I missed my rock kids. So the theme I went with is tiers of war. From those waging to fighting to simply suffering from them. 

From top to bottom:

Tiger’s Eye the general with her Amber Pearl.

Charoite the life stealer/molder & Apatite the battle hungry stealth solider.

And of course, my main bae, Azurite, the gem crafter, with their shattered boo, Tiger’s Eye.

phosphophyllite Emerged an off color, the only of her kind. She ran away and found another group of off colors, and together they escaped to earth. Everything was great until the corruption blast.
