OOC post
Hey, guys, I know this may disappoint a few of you people here, but I have officially decided to cancel the blog again. This time, for real and for good.
I did say I had fun with this webcomic, but looking back at my personal life behind the scenes, I’d say this comic did more harm than good. Not just to me, but maybe a few people who stumbled across the comic as well. To those people I apologize for whatever harm I might’ve unintentionally caused you; I’m doing my best to move forward in life and clean myself off.
Another reason I’m cancelling the blog is that My Little Pony doesn’t really appeal to me as much anymore. I had a blast making Power Star and telling a mysterious story with hidden lore, as well as silly SpongeBob parodies with Bikini Breeze, but after a while it started to get boring. I started to lose motivation. I might make pony art here and there, but for now, I’ve been pretty busy making furry art (i.e. Cuddly Kitsune).
Plus, I realized how toxic the fandom has been lately. Now, I know that every fandom has a toxic side and all, but last I checked, the toxic side of the brony fandom has been a lot more prominent, especially towards fans of G5. Look, I understand that there were a lot of problems with G5, but that does NOT mean you have the right to send death threats to someone just because you don’t like whatever they do. If anything, that just makes you look like a child.
But all that said, I’d like to see you guys pick this project up. Maybe start from scratch. Write a better story. I’m not forcing you to do it, but I would like to see how this comic could’ve gone if it was handled better. But personally, I don’t wanna touch this comic ever again.
