The art from the last ask. Don’t @ me about size comparisons. I went completely off of vague memory and my best guesses lol.
I’ve been nostalgic lately, so I wanted to go out of my way to honor a time in my life that I really cherish. Here are the characters of some of my favorite askblogs that were active back in the day, or blogs that I just fondly remember having lovely interactions with.
I miss all of these blogs, the people I was lucky enough to talk to, and I’m not sure where most of these people are anymore, to be honest. Regardless, I’m going to link all the askblogs of these characters under the cut below, and if I can find their current ask/art blog, I’ll link that as well (if they seem to be active there, at least). You should check them out– they’re lovely.

Heyo peeps! Lightning-mun finally back from the grave with this blog with a few announcements. More under the cut.
First off, this blog will be moved over to a new one which is linked above. The reason for this is because this blog has become infested with bot-blogs which continue to follow me. This has bothered me for some time now so I decided to remake ask-project-alida to basically get away from these annoying bots.
As for the new blog, it will be a soft-reset, meaning that there will be some small changes done to the characters and story, but all past interactions will remain. So if you’ve talked with one of the gals in the past you can bet that they’ll remember you!
So what changes will be taking place?
There will only be four characters available on the blog at the start. Those characters include: Alida, Light, Heinrich, and Emelia.
This blog will tie in with asktheforgottenfuture, another blog of mine which is an AU of this blog!
Minor character redesigns will take place since I haven’t updated some of their refs in over a year (Light).
Now for possibly the strangest one. The characters ages will be reverted. The reason for this is because of a previous plot which I have lost interested in. And since the plot is kinda scrapped I’ll just summarize it as basic as possible.
I only made them as old as they were so that their kids could be old enough to fight. Alida’s kid along with Light’s were going to be introduced eventually and replace the two as the main characters of the blog. Why? Because I planned on killing off Alida and Light. (Like every single character I create :^))
But after taking a break from this blog and eventually looking back at it a month ago, a single thought occurred.
Thought: This is fucking dumb. Was I high?
Like, I honestly just created something to introduce new characters and kill off two of my first OCs? I don’t even remember what was going on in my head at the time to be honest lol.
So yeah, there’s no point in having the kids anymore so why not revert the ages of the MCs, eh?
Alida: 33 - 28 Years old
Light: 35 - 30 Years old
Emelia: 35 - 30 Years old
Heinrich: 28 - 23 Years old
And that’s about it for changes for now. I’ll be planning out a new plot and making refs before I finally open the blog.

Alida: [I was reckless then and I cared not for my own safety. I fought, fought, and fought, and I won every single time. I didn’t care for the wounds I received and brandished them to my comrades as some sort of gods-forsaken trophy whenever I came back from battle.]
The gardevoir stopped walking and stood still for several seconds. Her brows furrowed as her memories came flooding back at her recalling her past self. She was becoming frustrated. Just why? Why couldn’t she even talk to someone about her past without feeling so overwhelmed? Why?
But she knew she had to tell her companion something, anything if she wanted to get over her issue. She just had to keep on pushing herself, even if it was just a small step towards progress. Taking in a few breaths, Alida turned to face the younger gardevoir before her.
[T-that is until I lost one day... I-I lost o-one day and I received this wound along my throat.] Alida finished, running a hand alongside the bandages around her neck. [I haven’t been able to speak since then... But.... it helped show me t-that I needed to care for myself. Not for m-myse- myself, no...... but for those whom I may hurt if I were to die due to that recklessness..... I hope my answer was sufficient, dear....]
This is in response to a post from @ask-project-alida where we’re reintroduced to an old friend of Niles’. And if you can’t tell, this garde here is Niles.
I used to run a Pokemon ask blog back in the day, and I’m very attached to this character of mine, so you might see him pop up every now and again. Anyhow, ol’ Nilesy will have to go into hiding for a bit if he wants to keep a grip on his sanity. Just another day, amirite? :>
Korrin: He may not be my blood Dad, but I love him all the same. I don’t have a Mama yet, but I think I will sometime soon. Daddy says I can call anyone I want to Mama, I just haven’t found the one I think wants to be Mama.
