I’m very sorry, but I’m afraid I wont be using this blog anymore. It’s been inactive for a very long time at this point, and I don’t think reviving it as a Marco-only blog is the way I want to go after all. I’m going to be leaving this blog behind as a fond memory, and something nice to look back on. Thank you for supporting our blog for as long as it lasted. After giving it a thought...

... I want to ask you guys. How would you feel about me continuing this blog on my own? I was hoping Ilse and I could continue it together as friends, but I don’t think that’s very likely to happen. She left the blog to me, and though it’s definitely not going to be the same without her, I feel bad just abandoning it. I guess it would turn this blog into just a regular Marco ask blog, but I’d be willing to stick some time into it if it would make you guys happy! So please let me know. Hiatus Announcement

To our dear fans, followers and supporters,

Some of you may or may not have seen this coming, but we’re making it official on here today. Ilse and I are no longer a couple. We’ve talked things through for about a week now and came to the conclusion that right now, it’s for the best if we break up. This hurts us both a lot, and personally I was also very worried because of the Jean Marco blog. You guys are some of the most sweet and loyal followers out there and to know that we’re letting you down really breaks my heart. I’m truly sorry.  For now we are not sure what effect this will have on the blog, other than us not being a couple and therefor no more fanservice. We both need some space and time to basically pull ourselves together before we’d possibly consider working on this blog again. Please understand, as we’re only human.  If we’re both comfortable enough with the idea of working on the blog again, we will return. However, it might take us a while. Jean and Marco are characters who are very close to our hearts, and who essentially brought us together. Returning to these characters might get a little painful, so we want to take our time. Again, we ask for your understanding.  For any questions I will be available on the chat, and you’re also free to send us asks.

@13burningroses wants some advice to come out to her homophobic mom, got any?

I’m going to reply to this out of character and in text, I hope that is okay. I’d love to give a motivational “Just do it!” speech about being yourself and how you should never hide who you are, but honestly I have no idea what this person’s situation is like so I’m just going to give advise for a worst case scenario, assuming she still lives with her mother. I don’t want to get anyone in trouble by telling them to just come out, risking the fact they might be in a dangerous place. With her mother being homophobic, I’m sure it’ll be really tough to come out. The best case scenario would be for her mother to change her mind about gay people and to love her daughter unconditionally no matter what her sexual and/or romantic preferences may be, but unfortunately that’s not always the case right away. So then what is the worst case scenario, and is she prepared for that to happen? There are some pretty tragic coming out stories out there, and I don’t want to scare anyone off but I do want people to be aware of it. Do not come out if it’s not safe for you to do so! If you’re afraid your family might abuse you, kick you out of your house or even disown you, do not come out unless you are able to support yourself at least financially. That would be my advise. Coming out in an unsafe environment is never something I’d recommend. Better safe than sorry!@13burningroses Please be safe and take care! ~ Sky//Marco

Change of plans;

// Hey everyone! Sorry, I know we said we’d be answering a couple asks before new year’s, but unfortunately Ilse isn’t feeling very well. There’s no better explanation of what happened other than an attack similar to epilepsy. She’s okay now, but we’re not feeling (nor looking) like we’re okay to make gifs. We did take some videos and pictures at the skating rink earlier today, so that’ll be released sometime soon :)

Our Jeanmarco anniversary is tomorrow...

...and we’re going to be celebrating it at Nishicon! 

Tomorrow, exactly one year ago, we recorded our first Jeanmarco video together for a let’s play of outlast on Shingeki No Let’s Play. The day after, we fell in love. 

So you should all come and hug us at Nishicon tomorrow! 

We’re going to be there as Jean and Marco, dressed in our take of their looks in the fanfiction Ghost Story! For those of you who are visiting, you can find us all weekend at the Cosplay Repair Point. We’ve decided to help out and fix people’s cosplays if anything gets damaged at the con. But don’t worry, you don’t have to rip your cosplay to come say hi and get a hug ;) 

We look forward to seeing everyone again, and hey... Our first CMV also was recorded at the hotel for this con. Perhaps a part two? Yes? No?
